DoubleTree by Hilton at the Entrance to Universal Orlando

Front desk person, Hakeem, was. Joy. It was my partner and my wedding night and he was so ecstatic about that. We are seniors, and to have a young man express such joy touched our 67 and 69 year old hearts!

The room attendant did not make up the beds but brought clean towels.

This hotel is fantastic and is perfect for anyone going to the Universal parks without staying on property.

Elevator was falling apart the only bad thing everything else was great and house keeping did an amazing job with making sure the rooms were cleaned every day ! Definitely would book again

If you are going to Universal this is a great spot to be. We booked this hotel due to it being so close we could walk. But when checking in, they let us know there was a shuttle to take you to and from the parks. They also have car rental here. If i would have known I would've gotten it here instead of the airport. The pool was great. There was a big jacuzzi, kiddie pool, and a splash pad. Pool bar was closed so I had to go inside to the restaurant. There were lots of food options and I even ordered breakfast to be delivered to the room. My ONLY complaint I had was our bathroom was not great. Toilet made a loud noise when you flushed. Shower also started to fill up. I would stay here again

Staff very welcoming and able to answer all of my questions. Room and facilities were clean but I think the carpet needs upgrading or replaced with laminate flooring. Linens were clean. I would suggest trash bags in the cans maybe. Would definitely stay here again

Stayed there for four nights. The bathroom had poor water pressure, the toilet was not flushing properly, the shower was dripping non stop. The air conditioning temperature was hard to control. It was either blasting freezing air or would shut off, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The was one working elevator in the south tower which created chaos and major delays.

Walking distance from Universal!

The staff was super friendly and helpful and I was always met with a smile. Any questions I had were answered and the valet staff was amazing!

When we arrived in our room it had a musty smell. I called the front desk but of course there were no rooms available to move to. The tub in the shower was clogged and filled up. When it filled up all the dirt from previous guests were floating in the water. Maintenance came and unclogged it but we had to end up cleaning it. The shower head was also in need of a cleaning. The elevators were not in good working order either.

This is one if my go to properties for Orlando. We love the closeness to Universal Studio. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. Clean property.

My first dislike was that of the hudden pricing once we got there and were checking in. The second one was the noise

The staff is always amazing here and very friendly. Rooms are always clean, and if you ever need something, they are quick to take care of it for you. Take advantage of everything at the Doubletree, including the breakfast cafe, the coffee shop, and at night the bar and pizza place located right on the property. My family has been going here for years, and it's always a great experience. The shuttle takes you right to Universal Studios, and for those who like to venture like me, there is a public transportation bus stop that will take you to the malls, SeaWorld, and the strip on International Drive!!

Had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Orlando. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was convenient for visiting local attractions, and the amenities made the stay enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others visiting Orlando.
