Good!

The property seems to not be well maintained. Our room door was busted and needed to be forced to shut and open. The heating unit in the room was very noisy and did not shut off when the desired temp was reached; we were up all night lowering the thermostat every hour or so, but it didn’t work.

This was a complete disaster of a stay. When checking in, I asked if there was some sort of free upgrade available, which a simple no would have been fine and I would have understood. It was something that I figured would cause no harm in a simple ask. However, what was not acceptable was the response I got from the coworker to the kind lady who was checking me in. "At the price you paid, absolutely not." said in the most snarky attitude in voice. And I wish my problems ended there, but that pretty much set the tone for the entire night. When me and my guess went up to our room for check in, we hand a extremely hard time trying to open and close the door. It was scraping the door frame so badly, that it made an incredibly loud sound, and did this everytime that it opened. Upon going into the room, it seemed clean enough as we took our first looks around and settled in. I decided to call down to the front and ask for extra toiletries and for extra pillows. After receiving stuff, was told that there was only one clean pillow left in the hotel, and so they would only provide one. As I looked closer at the toiletries, I noticed a few things, one of which was several of them had already been used and where inconsistent with the amounts in them. Then when I went to go open a lotion bottle, the whole inside was covered in tiny, stubbly, what I assumed to be hairs. Unfortunatly, I do not have enough characters to explain the rest of this, or the rudeness of the staff.Contact for more

clean hotel

Hotel was quiet and clean. Check in was super easy and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was clean inside with a great breakfast. Parking was difficult and the area it is was dirty and felt unsafe for a family to be walking around. If you need a hotel in Long Island this is a good option. Next time I will choose to stay out of the long Island area.

Rooms and beds were comfortable

The hotel was really good, clean, new, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, the only thing was the small area for breakfast. The lady that helped at breakfast was very nice and helpful. Overall i will stay again at La Quinta. :)

The hotel was clean, front staff were friendly and answered any questions we had. The area around the hotel was industrial so you have to travel to get some food but no complaints about the facility. They also run a shuttle to the subway station during the evening hours which is a big plus. The walk isn’t far from the hotel but after a full day of walking around Manhattan it’s nice to shave a half mile off.

Just one quick night post US Open. Wanted to be close to LGA for early am flight. As promised. Close east convenient.

AC noisy Staff were very helpful Room service uses an outside service - the food was extremely expensive and awful. Avoid! Easy 10 mins walk to F-line train. Disposable coffee cups - as in all US hotels, the disposability culture is shocking to a European.

Staff were not accommodating and were frequently on their personal phones watching shows or talking on speaker phone. Does not have a first aid kit available for their staff or guests. Not helpful.
-
What I liked is that it was quite. The staff was very attentive especially when the incident happened that the fire alarms was set up and we received all the information and updates we needed. To make sure that we were all calm. The staff was on point. The hotel room was very clean and neat. Thank you for your amazing service.

Service was great, the area is not ideal, and I wouldn’t walk around at night, but the location itself and the hotel were good. Breakfast was disappointing, less than advertised
