Comfort Suites Columbus

Do not stay here! Avoid this place! No hot water. The breakfasts ran out. The manager was extremely unhelpful when I reported the lack of hot water. The sink was clogged. The toilet seat was broken. It was in a sketchy part of town near a truck stop. My family usually enjoys Comfort Suites. This was one of the worst ones we've ever stayed at. I asked for a refund and the manager refused. The Comfort Suites executives need to address this hotel problem a.s.a.p.

Staff was great and the breakfast was good!

Terrible customer service. Very dirty, tv was broken in the room, pull out bed was dirty. Sheets were stained. AC didn’t work in the room.

We were not provided enough washcloths and when we requested them (along with replacement towels) that same clerk told us he didn’t have any. We spoke the next day with the manager and she was not helpful, saying towels were on backorder and she didn’t have any to give us. She was rude and accusatory, berating me in the lobby, saying we should have known the policy of Choice Hotels and that she was unable to help. She did eventually give us a washcloth and 2 handtowels (we had 7 people in 2 rooms) and said she wasn’t giving us anymore. I told her I have stayed in many hotels and never had a problem getting towels, she just smirked, said she was the manager, and moved on. The pool was open noon-10pm but multiple guests could not access with the keycards. When I told the manager she said the pool was closed and we shouldn’t be in there. There was no sign or mention of this, we booked specifically for a pool. For $150/night I expected to be treated with courtesy as a guest and be able to bathe and use the pool. I will not stay in a Choice brand hotel again.

Staff was helpful and nice

First, I was told that I could not have company in my hotel room. I paid over $320 in full for my stay, and nowhere have I ever stayed at a hotel where I was told I could not have guests in my room. I am a 46-year-old woman, not someone trying to throw parties or cause problems. Being treated like I needed permission for who could visit me felt disrespectful and made me feel like I was being treated like a child. I was also told that my two daughters, two sons, and three grandchildren could not come to the pool. One of the main reasons I booked a hotel with a pool was so my grandchildren could enjoy themselves and have a good time. If there were restrictions, that should have been clearly explained before I spent my money. To make matters worse, the room was not clean. The bathroom had hair all over it, there was food left behind, including a piece of cheese on the floor, and the overall cleanliness was unacceptable. On top of all of that, the attitude from the front desk staff made the experience even worse. Between the poor customer service, the cleanliness issues, and feeling disrespected during my stay, this hotel was absolutely not worth the money I spent. I would not recommend staying here, and I will never stay at this location again.

Toilet seat was very loose. TV was small. Beds were hard to sleep on. Room door needed adjusting, hard to close. Same with bathroom door.

Water pressure was amazing. The room was ok, outdated decor and old furniture.. It was not the usual standard I am used to for this price point and hotel group.

It was quiet, the staff was helpful, the free breakfast was simple but good. No House keeping services. House keeping never arrived even if requested. Had to go down to guest services multiple times just for new towels

I asked for a 5th towel as our room was booked for 5 people and they said that they don’t have extra towels at first but eventually got us one. The sofa bed had no bedding so I had to go retrieve that. The lock had been broken off and poorly re-fastened. Great water pressure and a/c was the only positive
