This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. First the pictures on website are deceiving. This hotel is very out dated and desperate need of repairs. Place felt dirty and not clean. First night we asked the front desk for extra towels and the attendant said they didn’t have any. Asked again the second night and was given one that she said she found. First night the fire alarm went off at 2AM. When about to evacuate the premises, the alarm stopped but was never given an explanation or even an apology to this. Also on the second night the room above us was literally stomping around one side of the room to the other for over an hour. Tried to call front desk multiple times through cell phone due to the room phone not working, had to call corporate number to get through to the the hotel site to help with this matter, when finally got through to clerk. She advised she didn’t hear anything with us being 3 floors up (how is a first floor going to hear what’s going on, on the 3rd-4th floor??) I still asked if she could give the room a call to take care of this matter and she acted bothered that I was asking her to do her job. For the price we paid, absolutely not worth it. Please save yourself the money and stay elsewhere.

Immediately upon arrival I realized that I should have booked a stay somewhere else. Dead roaches and broken light fixtures by the elevator, smelly hallways, and paint and wallpaper peeling everywhere. I didn't want to look too closely at the stains on every wall for fear of discovering something truly disgusting. Our room was visibly dirty like the carpet had not been vacuumed and had bits of trash scattered about. The sheets were clean but only barely pulled onto the bed - I had to finish making the bed myself. Even though the room had 2 queen beds and was booked for 3 people, it only had 2 towels in the bathroom and was missing a hair dryer. There was no room phone and no alarm clock. Dirty handprints were visible all over the cabinet containing the microwave and fridge. Since it was only 1 night and had been pre-paid, we stayed, but I will never stay in another La Quinta again. When we checked out I informed the desk clerk about the missing hair dryer (since I was worried they would accuse me of stealing it and charge me) and she told me they were aware that many rooms did not have hair dryers. I also let her know about the dirty state of the room and she said it would be addressed. The breakfast in the morning was gross with powdered scrambled eggs and pale bacon. I don't know how this property has such high ratings because it was truly disgusting.

The employees were very friendly and helpful. The property itself showed a lot of wear and tear which is not controlled by the staff. The breakfast was subpar at best.

The breakfast, what little was left, was unedible. The dining tables and chairs were falling apart. The “gym” had one treadmill. We had no housekeeping service at all during our stay. The hotel looked old and unkept. Scarred furniture, walls, doors, baseboards were everywhere. What a waste of money!!! The La Quinta brand is not what it used to be, I will not stay at one ever again!

The carpet was wet and I had to changed rooms. The lobby men's bathroom toilet was dirty, no toilet paper, or paper towers. The staff was rude when request another towel because ther was one in the room.

They never answer phone. Staff is not helpful. Will never book from hotels.com again

The hotel was VERY dark and had a strong smell- like Pine Sol or Clorox. The ice machine did not look clean. The elevator was extremely slow-like it was about to quit working. Also, the fire alarm was set off at 2:20am and we had to go outside- ended up being a false alarm. Not a happy place nor clean.

At cleaning time, the chemical smells were very strong in the whole hotel. We could tell that the staff did their best to keep the rooms clean. However, the building as a whole is run down. Our bath tab had part of its lining scraped off. There were pictures missing from the wall, leaving exposed hanging hardware. The baseboards are scuffed and dirty. After all of these rundown aspects, we were pleasantly surprised to actually sleep well -- the beds seemed rather new and the bedding was good. The staff was also very pleasant and helpful. In addition, the location was great for our purposes.

The room was good. Staff was great and helpful. The TV cable wasn’t working. And the elevator probably needs to be inspected and worked on. Other than that it was a great hotel.

It was clean and employees were nice and helpful

Do not stay here! Not well maintained and not clean! Staff wasn’t helpful and workout room was nothing like the picture on the website!

Location was ok. The floor in the room was very sticky and dirty but you could smell fabuloso cleaner super strong (which gave me a headache), so I guess it was cleaned or maybe just wiped across the floor. The rest of the room seemed clean. The smoke alarm was disconnected a laying inside the drawer in the side table. The door didn’t latch whenever we would leave and realized after the 3rd time that I needed to pull hard to close completely. We were on 1st and it was very noisy early in the morning a little before 6:00am. Couldn’t tell what all the noise was but it was loud like machines running. Parking was easy.

The front desk was swamped with people checking in and one lady wanting her money back. There was no refrigerator in my room and the tv reception was terrible. The morning coffee was lukewarm and weak as if it had been watered down. The people were working as hard as they could and never got angry. They were overwhelmed.
-
The reservation stated 3 adults would be staying in the room, and there were still only towels for 2 people. We had to ask for more towels every day we were there. Also, there were issues with breakfast more than one day.
-
The desk clerk was having a bad day with people waiting for her and phone ringing. The TV did not work and the AC struggled to cool the room.

Our stay was terrible. The room we were put in on arrival, A/C didn’t work. Had to wait to be moved to another room. That room looked dirty and the next morning found bugs in the bed. Notified hotel and they moved us to yet another room but charged us $50 for a penalty because they said our pet could have brought the bugs, which she did not. They even looked at our little Maltese dog,no signs of bugs. We waited again for a third room. This is my last stay at any La Quinta Hotel. Horrible experience.
