Property is surrounded by homeless Given room very far from elevator. Breakfast Buffet (over $40) a person not worth it. Check-in person indifferent. Check-out person wonderful. This young man gave exceptional caring service.

1. Went for the top tier King room on a high floor, was $40 more a night and view was an old brick building. What hell was the extra money for. Terrible 2. Destination fee, total BS just a way for them to get more money from you. 3. Parking is not included and had to pay $48 a day to park. Total BS 4. Room issues- bed didn’t have fitted sheets on it, a top sheet for the fitted sheet. Crazy -fridge didn’t get cold It’s ludicrous to pay $400 dollars a night and have all of these issues. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend the Grand Hyatt DC to anyone

A clean and spacious hotel with a friendly and open lobby. Great location with simple access to the Mall and good restaurants. Next time I'll opt for a courtyard facing room as our outside facing room faced some taller buildings and nothing else.

Location is very convenient, reaching to the hotel or commuting is very easy as it has a direct metro connection. The staff and customer service were great, all of them were helpful and nice. -

The staff was great, quick to provide directions or favorite spots to grab a bite to eat. Perfect location. Highly recommend.

Our first room was full of cigarette smoke and smelled really bad. Our second room was between an ice machine and an elevator which kept me up all night.

Excellent location central to all DC has to offer. The lobby is very grand and impressive and staff was helpful every step of the way. The rooms were just ok for this level of hotel - water pressure was low, the thermostat did not work and room was unbearably hot, and the mattress was extremely soft - ok for some, but not my personal preference. Some minor tweaks, a bit more of room amenities (emery board, shower cap) and this could be a five star

Room 934 was far from the noise in the Atrium. Room 934. Difficult to view the television from the bed. A stronger shower spray would be nice.
