St. Petersburg Marriott Clearwater

Decent hotel.

Rooms were clean. Staff were nice. Wished the pool was not placed out front.

We returned to the front desk to report these issues. What was equally disappointing was the lack of concern, empathy, or apology from the front desk agent. There was no acknowledgment of the seriousness of the situation, and we were simply assigned a different room. After moving to the second room, we discovered that the air conditioning was not functioning properly. We again contacted the front desk and were informed that someone from Engineering would be sent to address the issue. Unfortunately, no one ever arrived, and the problem remained unresolved for the duration of our stay. The combination of cleanliness concerns, inadequate room conditions, poor follow-up, and the lack of customer service from the front desk staff made for a very frustrating and disappointing experience.

The ptoperty itself was pretty decent. They are doing renovations. The staff was nice, but the breakfast was not good and not worth the amount charged.

I paid $200 for a hotel that worth $100 I was expecting a little bit more.

Las habitaciones no están buenas

When I arrived, the staff was very helpful, professional kind, and smiling. They even got me help with bringing my items up to my room. Breakfast was great. Staff and maids were excellent. Staff was very accommodating. Rooms were clean. Property was clean. This is my second stay here it was great. Only thing I think that toilets need to be a little bit higher for tall people thank you very much Marriott.

La primera noche tuvimos que movernos de habitacion a la 1.00 am por que no funcionaba el Aire Acondicionado, demaciado calor, afectando nuestro descanso. La siguiente noche tampoco funcionaba en la segunda habitación y tubimos que esperar a q solucionaran el problema. La puerta del closet descolgada, no funcionaba y lamparas que no prendieron. La piscina estaba sucia. La persona q nos hiso el check out, muy poco agradable y desatenta. Definitivamente no lo recomiendo.

We had to change rooms 3x because air conditioning didn’t work. Staff handled the situation horribly. No apology for what we had to go through whatsoever from 3 different front desk staff. It was a holiday weekend otherwise we would have left and went somewhere else. Pool was filthy and chairs were dirty. It was disgusting. The whole building is outdated and rundown. I can’t believe what we paid for the worst stay ever at a Marriott. We will never stay at a Marriott again. Third Marriott that has been a disappointment for us.

A good stay. The hotel is undergoing some renovations but was a great option for a last minute booking for the weekend. My only feedback is that the room’s HVAC was really loud and the room felt humid as if it was struggling to cool, at times.

Not much. The A/C wasnt working. We got in late and we were tired so we just went to sleep. We set the temp at 72 and it never got under 76. I notified the front desk in the morning when we left and by the time we got back and night someone had set the thermostat to 69 but the room temp was still in the mid 70s. There was ants EVERYWHERE in the room! We even found some in our luggage when we got home. There was also black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom.

Very very muggy in the room when we arrived. It got better when we came back. Perfect for a one night stay for us at least. Thanks

My only gripe is the fact that the advertising is mieleading because the pictures show the hotel next the beach, bu in reality is 10 or so miles from it…

We had dinner in the restaurant. At 5:00, we were their only patrons. They treated us well. We were staying there for a Health Fair. Everything was good. Always someone around for help or questions. The lunch that was served was very nice. I always check for bedbugs before bringing anything in to the room. None found, just a lot of dust.

The service an cleanness

The staff was great, the room conditions were amazing, and no complaints on anything!

The only concern I had was the information not given on breakfast hours. I really wanted to enjoy breakfast on site. Other than that my room was great.

Overall a great place to stay. Location met my needs in terms of being close to my event with food, gas, groceries ring near by. It was quiet. Staff was friendly and place was clean. I did find the room to be a little on the warmer side.

There was a humming sound all night that for a light sleeper like me , I didn’t sleep well all night. I told them about it however no compensation has been offered as a nice gesture at all.
