Samesun San Francisco - Hostel

I've stayed here like 5 times and I really love this place. It's always clean, I like that the rooms are minimalistic and with light colors. The staff is always really nice, and the location is amazing. The zone feels safe at day and night and you can walk to the piers and restaurants nearby.

Everything was ok for the price. The only thing I had a problem with was that the bed were not that comfortable including the pillows. The breakfast could have been better. It was cheaper then a lot of other hotels near by so you get what you pay for. In the end everything was ok.

Over all it’s good

I loved the location-safe and within walking distance to the waterfront! The free parking was also huge and saved us $50+! We live a few hours away and will definitely be back.

We actually had a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge from our balcony! We had the room right off the elevator which was convenient yes but it was a bit noisy for light sleepers like myself

We felt very safe here and very convienient very close to san fran attractions, good plain breafast, nice and kind staff Nothing everything is perfect

Location Mold in the bathroom ceiling and walls. I had an intense allergic reaction, watering eyes, itchy skin, asthma from black mold and mildew. I was so sick. I went to the hospital. As soon as I left the hostel, I felt better. I had to book another hotel. I contacted the health department and they said an inspection will be done in 2 days. Do not stay here for health reasons!!!

Nice and clean Comfortable

The view facing the Golden Gate from our balcony. There is no bad smell, and it is very clean. I like the chocolate and earplugs they have and also the common area is very clean. We played the pool a lot and did some boardgames too. The breakfast is also satisfying but I wish it is extended to 10am instead of 9am. The slow toilet that doesn't even have enough pressure to flush three squares of toilet paper, and very slow wifi on the third floor. Also, that toilet is very low, or the water is so high that it touches your private area when sitting on it. Those needs to be improved, after that then it is a perfect stay.

Cleanliness, comfortable bed, big room, and hot shower. It was nice to use the microwaves available for a quick meal. Luggage drop-off and parking spot. The breakfast was good, but for the price it could more variety.

Nice free bagel breakfast, along with orange juice, coffee, tea. Coffee good. No hangups about drinking a beer on premises, either. Fantastic parking area was available for me on ground level (two levels) that was visible from lobby/patio/dining area. Nice if one is concerned about motorcycle security. Reasonable vending machine prices.
