Comfort Inn by the Bay

The breakfast was great, good selection of choices and staff were topping up items and cleaning constantly which was fab. The hotel was an easy walk to reach the waterside and Pier 39. Great location. Area was clean and quiet. Safe to walk around with my family. The hotel room was a little dated but with all the other perks we didn’t care. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to other families.

Definitely the nicest hotel in the area and in a safe neighborhood hood. Easy to find being right off the main strip and I didnt have to drive up any huge hills, that was a plus. Not far from shopping or the wharf area. Clean rooms, breakfast was decent too.

No mini fridge in rooms house keeping stopped working at 3pm so couldnt clean the room or get new sheets

Great location! Small bathrooms. Breakfast was nice, very well maintained with food and clean. Staff was friendly.

Clean room , had to wait a couple more minutes for my other room to be ready but other than that checking in was easy and staff were friendly. What we loved the most was our view from the top floor of the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay. Only thing that I didn’t like was how constricted the parking was that we didn’t want to take our small suv out again because is so hard. So we walked alot and paid for other transportation to get around.

When I checked in, the staff informed me that the carpet had just been shampooed. I told them I was sure it would dry and no big deal. I was WRONG. The carpet remained wet the entire time we were there. In addition, the room was hot and humid when we arrived. It never fully cooled down even with the air conditioning on its coldest and highest setting. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge helped with enjoying our stay but we were pretty miserable and had trouble sleeping. Everything else about the hotel was excellent.

Great little hotel with parking. It was easily accessible to public transportation. Great restaurants across the street.

fruit flies in room. Staff wouldn't let me combine 2 back to back reservations. run down.

Clean and location was great

Room and hallway was dirty. Left over food left in hall by ice machine. Parking was extremely inconvenient, especially for the price. Should not be charged to use the garage.

My only complaint is how tight the corners are in the parking garage other than that to state was excellent

Everything was great. I only wish our bathroom was a bit bigger but the view was amazing.

The room is kind of old furniture with a smell and the air conditioning is functional but a little bit noisy. The staff in the front desk is very friendly. Also I really like the breakfast because there are many kind of items for people to pick.

We also asked the front desk for bottled water and were told none was available, which was disappointing after a long day of travel. Additionally, the parking garage is extremely tight and can be difficult to navigate, especially with a larger vehicle. The location was convenient, but some updates and better attention to guest amenities would make for a much better experience.

No refrigerator in rooms. Exorbitant security deposit. Very small pillows. Dirty carpet.
