This place is a bargain for San Francisco. The area is safe.

That said, I was not impressed with the hotel overall. The property had more of a second-rate economy feel, and my room was not in especially good condition. My biggest issue was the strange check-in and front desk process. Rather than normal front desk service, guests are pushed toward a kiosk with a remote video attendant. I understand using technology to make check-in faster, but this setup felt awkward and impersonal rather than efficient. It was especially frustrating because the remote kiosk could not actually help with basic needs like getting towels or supplies for the room, so I still had to deal with the on-site front desk anyway. The overall impression was that the hotel was trying to avoid direct guest interaction rather than improve the guest experience. This was not the worst hotel stay I have ever had, but I would not choose to stay here again unless I had no better option.

Available parking.. Easy check in . Had handicap room so plenty of space. Was street side so loud until traffic calmed down. Traveled with wife and 12 year old twins.

Hard to park if not a local

Well I reserved a room since I was traveling a couple hours away and wanted to stay close to pier 39. I was charged $173. But a couple hours later I noticed the same exact room dropped to $116. Plus my bathroom had someone’s used toilet roll. Sofa bed was so obnoxiously loud it kept waking my partner up through out the night. I really would like to know how I am charged a price that’s so much more than the same exact room 2 hours later for cheaper. I stay in San Francisco quite a bit for work and pleasure. How can we make this right? Thanks have a blessed day

Great location it is outdated but very clean has free parking has mini fridge would of been nice to have a microwave
-
Great location near many of the sights with a 1 mile walk. It was right on the BigBus line where you could hop on and off. It had on site parking which was a big plus.

Vending machine and ice machine broken on third floor. Overall clean and quiet

This motel was totally not what I expected. In my opinion it needs some serious updating and remodeling.
-
The room was clean, parking was free in a garage, and staff were helpful.

Request a room on the backside of the hotel away from Lombard St. It can get noisy. Otherwise, it is conveniently located and having free parking is a pllus.
-
Check in was weird doing it with someone on a camera. Place is okay. Main reason I booked was the free parking. They have tried to make the hotel updated which is nice.

Great location. Too noisy. Checking out was via a computer in the lobby with a screen. I’m not sure if the person on the screen was someone in USA or in another country. There was a strong curry smell. Best was the free parking.

It was different speaking to a virtual front desk staff member. This took away the feel of being welcomed into a hotel. Although I had no issues, it did not feel as welcoming and I did have to repeat myself multiple times.

Some places really need maintenance (paint, restoring)

Parking is free, which is rare in the city. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

It is close to several attractions.

Clean and spacious Nothing wrong good parking space

Great to have parking available at the hotel. The smell of the cleaning products used was too intense. My husband ended up with a sinus infection as he is allergic to almost all perfume fragrances. When we stayed there a month ago we did not have this issue.
