Americas Best Value Inn Loma Lodge

I hate the entrance, you have to navigate past 5 tiny covered parking plsces, (don't know if you can park there or not) then a narrow (all oneway) alley like driveway to get to the actual parking lot. if you miss it you have to go entirely around the block to get back.

The room was outdated. There was a window but it was so high we couldn’t even see outside.

No hassles. I went there to study quiet and perfect

The room at least has a bathroom, tv, mini fridge and microwave. The ac was ok. Everything was decent if you’re just in San Diego for a vacation. The bed was comfortable but the shower could use some work when I tried showering and adjust both the hot and cold dials so the shower can run warm/hot but it started running cold that’s the only thing they need to work on. The hotel staff was great I may stay again for a future San Diego vacation.

there beds are comfortable. but there tv only gets 1 channel, we talk with the manager and said they have a limit, there a/c keeps turning off and on, our upstairs neighbor was making noise. my family didn’t have much sleep because he was walking back and forth for a few long hours. stop for a minute but continue. so no sleep, no tv, and no quiet time to sleep. never again going back. i would rather spend an extra 100 or 200 for a better room.

The outlets and usb ports didn’t work well

The air conditioner did not work, the sheets were stained, and the room needed a deep cleaning.

Good for the price. Good location. Staff very helpful.

The only thing I would say that was a minor issue was the traffic noise on the busy street in front of the location.

This is an older property but it is clean and tidy, and the location is convenient. Large vehicles may have difficulty making the very narrow turn into the back parking area.

The staff and housekeeping did an excellent job.

It’s a room, If your just going to sleep, it was alright not Hilton or Sheraton for sure even motel 6 is good compared to this but it was a last minute and needed somewhere cheap to stay it’s cool for the price you pay but you shouldn’t pay anything more then 50 bucks a night I’m just saying.

I guess I didn’t read closely enough about the deposit but it was actually okay and it went back to my card super fast!

You have what you paying for. Nothing terrible and nothing particularly remarkable.

Staff is always nice. I typically get the room I want facing away from the street to alleviate as much noise as possilbe. I wish there was some breakfast but I understand for the price why there isn't.

The pool was the best part. Room was hot not cold enough even with AC full blast. Found a roach by the fridge.

Old fashioned The price but I guess is Saturday night price
