Washington Square Hotel

Great location and super helpful staff!

This is our “go to” hotel when visiting the West Village” I want to give a shout out to Anna at the front desk.

Everything was top notch!!!

Rooms were spotless, a/c worked well, staff was friendly and great location. My only issue which is a small one is if they could include fruit and yogurt with the continental breakfast. Other than that absolutely no complaints.

The location was great. The subway was a block away and there was a grocery store on the corner. Washington Square Park was half a block away. Clean and safe neighborhood. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing!

Great location and nice clean hotel, lovely touch with complimentary pastries and coffee for breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not as modern as some of the newer hotels but has lots of character.

The staff: Everyone was kind and helpful without feeling overbearing. The in-house cafe: Coffee, tea and water available all day. Nice selection of breakfast pastries and orange juice available from 7-10:30am. Location: Perfect for our stay. Excellent park, restaurants, cafes and grocery stores all within walking distance. Subway access within a block.

Great location, close to Metro. Great staff.

The staff was very kind, and the room was great! The location is ideal for easily getting around the city via subway or walking. Definitely a place I'd come back to stay at.

Very clean and accommodating. There wasn’t one thing that was wrong and the location was excellent!

Amazing location, just off West and Greenwich Village. Close to 4th st Station with great transport links A little dated, but perfectly functional.

Staff nice , rooms clean. Quite dated but we would stay again. . Very well positioned and coffee and tea and pastries included each morning (but the hot drinks were there all day)

But the "money shot" here is the hotel itself: the lobby is an incredible throwback to the 1910s, amazing tile work, the little cafe is a delightful amenity (free espresso!), and the staff were incredibly accommodating. I cannot imagine a better located New York City hotel, 50 yards away from the West 4th Street subway stop which takes you pretty much everywhere, and less than 50 yards from Washington Square Park, one of the greatest urban parks in America. Gives one exactly what one should want out of a New York Hotel room: great location, great common spaces, clean and comfy room for sleeping after a day of hitting it hard in one of the world's greatest cities. Would definitely stay here again!
