Clean hotel. Great location but absolutely NO PARKING! And you will have ti get up very early around to move your car if you’re lucky enough to find a spot within a 4 block radius.
-
A/C and Clean Room; helpful staff; 10-12 min walk to metro station but preferably during day time.

Not a lot- was in a really rough looking area. Major construction going on outside & the room was filthy the bathroom was clean and had fresh towels The room was filthy there was stick substances beer / juice sprayed on the wall and floor which had been there for some time as there was dust settle on it -the floor hadn’t been swept/mopped.

The air conditioner was working and the shower was fine, but those were pretty much the only amenities that we used in our one-night stay. We didn’t mind the room that is a little run-down, it was a good place to sleep safely before our flight. But if there were amenities, we did not find them, nor go looking for them. It helped us to save a few dollars at a location that is a short commute from LaGuardia. We came in late and left early, so we didn’t have much staff interaction.

Overall, you get what you paid for, and honestly, it wasn't as bad as I anticipated! The room was clean, I didn't spot any bugs, and the staff was pretty nice. We only stayed there for two nights, but the hotel itself was not a disaster. I'd recommend it - the only thing (not pertaining to the hotel) was the area surrounding it. Kind of sketchy, but once you get out to the subway that's near by, no issues. Again, not a bad spot, I've stayed in way worse for more money.

The hotel was conveniently located close to Manhattan (beside that you have to walk through a dodgy area). The room was a good size and included a fridge and a desk. There is also a nice café next door if you would like to have breakfast. There are a few take aways 10mins away from the hotel The lifts were extremely slow, and the receptionist was quite unfriendly. We were jet-lagged and had provided our arrival time as 7:00 pm, but there was nobody at reception when we arrived, so we had to wait around 10 minutes for someone to appear. The staff also seemed to ignore the fact that some guests were being loud and smoking cannabis. However, the biggest issue was the lack of soundproofing. You could hear everything from the street, as well as your neighbours watching TV, talking, or using the bathroom. The bed was comfortable enough, but it was unusually high. I'm 5'9" and practically had to stand on my toes to get into it. I also don't understand the purpose of taking a security deposit when the room is not inspected with the guest at either check-in or check-out. Fortunately, we did receive our deposit back. There were also quite a few maintenance issues, including a broken towel rack, scratches on the desk, and generally worn furnishings. Another major frustration was that on our last day we were not allowed to leave our luggage in a secure storage area and could only leave it in the lobby, which was beyond disappointing. The guest bathroom available after check-out was in poor condition. There were exposed cables, no soap, and no toilet paper. In our room, the bathroom light would occasionally switch on during the night for no apparent reason, which suggested possible electrical issues. The windows were extremely dirty, and the hotel is not located in the nicest area. The nearest shopping area on the way to the subway felt quite rough, with people openly smoking cannabis and frequent arguments in shops. The subway was also farther away than expected—around a 15-minute walk, followed by another 15-minute subway ride to reach central attractions. 6 /10 good if you want to stay somewhere cheap and fair price but be prepared for all the issues mentioned. I hate leaving negative reviews but it would be wrong of me not to. First of all, I am not a very picky person but I am a bit of a germaphobe. The first room was so dinghy with holes in the bed covers and dirt on the walls that I had to ask for a second room. The second one was bigger however there were scrape marks all along the walls on each side the vent had major holes in it so I had to ask the guy at the front desk to come up and start the air conditioner. There were marks all on the dresser and I had to clean the walls because there was blood on the light switch and the wall just at the door. The nicest thing about this hotel was the guy that checked us in. He did his very best but this room is terrible. I don't even feel comfortable to bring all my clothes in the hotel. If you absolutely have nowhere to sleep except for on the street then okay but otherwise I would never come here again. The fact that there is dirt marks on the floor and blood on the wall means that somebody is not cleaning this place properly. You get what you pay for and to think I drove 10 hours to come and spend the weekend here.

Genuinely surprised at just how good this hotel was for the price. there's a cash deposit needed. there's not much nearby in terms of food etc. - one little basic cafe down the street but that;s it. few blocks walk gets you near some food places, bodegas and a subway

Could not refer this property in good conscious. To start, there is a cash only deposit required, which conveniently they have an ATM next to the counter with an outrageous fee to use. The room was filthy. When I say filthy, I mean there was literal blood on the wall. Looked like someone spit on the wall. A child could have done a better good cleaning this room. STAY AWAY.

Did the trick for New York but nothing special. Not many room amenities and location is a we bit rough but other than that it certainly did the trick for the price.

The room itself seemed okay, but after reading numerous reviews about bed bugs, cleanliness issues, and security concerns, I spent the entire stay feeling anxious and unable to relax. We never unpacked properly, hid our belongings inside multiple bags, and even kept our luggage in the bathtub because we were worried about bringing pests home. I felt so uncomfortable that after showering, I would step straight into my sneakers because I didn’t want my bare feet touching the floor. Whether justified or not, the hotel left me feeling dirty and on edge the entire time. The surrounding area also felt unsafe, with people passed out on the streets and an atmosphere that made us uncomfortable, especially at night. Thankfully, we didn’t get bed bugs, but the fact that I had to worry about them throughout my holiday made the stay not worth it. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel in New York, I’d recommend staying further out and commuting in. The extra travel time is worth the peace of mind. *I included the picture of a random person passed out right outside the hotel, I know it’s not the hotels fault but keep a note of that Cleanliness

This is definitely a get what you pay for place. If you book more than one room on Expedia the deposit is $100 cash per room not per booking ( keep that in mind). Its okay if you need a place to stay, but come with no expectations. The room could use a deep clean and some updates. Otherwise theres a shop next door you can get coffee and breakfast from and its not far from LGA airport.

no sits at the lobby, no amenities. in few words, a place to crash if you are not that picky. I had to leave $100 deposit cash, and ask twice to get it back at my check out. A walking distance from the metro and bus station and continence store.
