Room was small even when we upgraded to the executive. Also expensive and aged. The bathroom fixtures and TV were particularly dated. The ‘free’ breakfast wasn’t really a free breakfast but instead a bagel and a cup of coffee. I paid a lot for this stay and was very disappointed.

Es una propiedad céntrica y para estar en midtown económica, pero las condiciones del hotel están deterioradas en especial las habitaciones. Necesita una revocación en general.

The hotel is older but the rooms are really nice. Great location right next to the subway. Staff was really nice, great gym, and the tick tock dinner is awesome. Great food!

We loved the Tick Tock Cafe with a view of Madison Square Garden. The hotel is old, but in good shape. I didn't enjoy the bathrooms since it was a bit outdated. Our room was very tiny for a queen room. You open the door and you will hit the bed. But, we were only there to sleep, so it was fine. You have to unpack because there is no space to have your suitcases open, unless you only have 1. Overall, it was fine. I would try to get a larger room if you want more space. A queen room is too small for a week with 2 people.

The hotel hallways and room bathrooms are outdated. No refrigerator. Housekeepers are nice and friendly. Good location for restaurants and pharmacy.

Great location nice room. They’re date, but clean. Very friendly staff.

Do not!! I repeat do not stay at this dirty run down over priced poor excuse for a hotel. It had dirty towels and sheets. Mold around the bathroom window. Cigarette butts on the patio. And upon checkout my wife and I were hit with a $500 smoking fee!!!! Neither of us smoke!! We tried to dispute this with property manager just to be dismissed. We have called and emailed several times since and no one has returned our calls or emails. To top it off the credit card we used was compromised and from what we can gather so far it points to it being linked to the New Yorker!! Please read the other reviews from past guests. There is even a Facebook page with similar testimonials.

The cutest diner was in the lobby and there's something so nostalgic about the New Yorker. It was charming and conveniently located. Will definitely be going back soon!

Very good experience

The front desk staff was superb, especially Krystal. Unfortunately the room was not. The bathroom sink didn’t drain & the cold water faucet had a trickle so you had to brush with hot water or use the cold water from tub. The toilet would leak water each time you would flush. To make things even worse, there was construction that began at 9:00am. The city view made up for it all but if we had to stay more than a night we would’ve had to switch rooms.

Enjoyed the stay and location. It’s an older hotel that could use some upgrades. Walking distance to a lot and the staff was pleasant. Didn’t eat at anything onsite because we were always on the go. I would stay again

El personal de recepción es bueno ,pero los que asen limpieza dejan que desear una señora de la limpieza antes de las 10 me estaba tocando para sacarme cuando la salida del hotel dice a las 11 y cuando le dije que la salida era a las 11 se molesto.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Poorly maintained. Rude staff. Bathrooms were a joke, and then they charged us for all kinds of unauthorized things. Don’t stay here!

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby gave me false expectations because the rest of the hotel was very run down and poorly maintained. I traveled with my 15 yr old daughter and friends for a birthday trip. The last day the staff slid a paper under my door claiming that we had violated their smoking policy, not only have I never smoked in my life (vaped or any other form) they didn’t have any way to prove or disprove. They just automatically charged me almost $600 for the violation. No one would come look and check review cameras or anything else. They simply said email corporate that their sensors are fool proof. I’m still caught up in an email battle with what is likely AI and will never get my money back. The staff were also rude and unhelpful after being unable to buy water from their vending machines (only located on 2 floors) we went to the restaurant and asked if they would please fill our water bottles. We were then reprimanded by the staff for that and told to use the gym…that no one ever told us about and we had to go on a hunt to find. When checking out we asked them to hold our bags, (which they charged for!)…and the attendant told my daughter she would have to go back to the back of the line with an adult, we spent over an hour just trying to get out of the hotel. I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. AND IT WAS EXPENSIVE for the awful experience we had.

Really added to a classic New York experience. We enjoyed it and everyone was very helpful and the TikTok diner was really convenient with good food and the location right at the bottom corner of the hotel.

Room was terrible, I was told that I got a complementary upgrade to executive suite , but that itself was terrible. Pillows were not clean, TV is just not useful, no refrigerator nor room was maintained clean. Highly disappointed
