Hyatt Place Houston/Galleria

We were asked when we checked in if we wanted our rooms cleaned everyday and we said yes. Our room wasn’t cleaned once during our entire stay. We had to ask for toilet paper because we ran out. Our trash binds were overflowing and we didn’t have space to place our trash. The ac made the both of us sick, probably because of all the dust in the vents.

Understaffed at the front desk. Valet parking is $35/day, just park at the garage next door. There was black mold in the room, there was no apology, they just gave me a new room as if they expected it.

Everything was really good. Little to no human interaction but it was good. The defeating part is the parking, you have to use valet and that is $35.00 a night which is exorbitant. Other than that all good.

Everything was always at its best .. the room the staff front desk and breakfast was super good and the rooms very clean .. we always come back every time we get to Houston .. thank you staff great job to all

Breakfast was good and the location was great One of your employees, I believe she was the manager, an older bigger Hispanic lady never said hi, never smiled, always looked upset even after I said good morning to her.

Amazing staff, attentiveness and close to food and shopping

Overall, the hotel is easy going and perfect for a short stay with a nice staff, service oriented. The room was comfortable, very clean, well maintained. Traditional American breakfast but generous. i would not stay there for holidays but certainly a good address for a business trip. Usually the Hyatt hotels are a bit more premium. I just left Jakarta where I stayed in Grand Hyatt and my experience was not comparable in terms of services, breakfast, comfort and environment.

Nice hotel. The pool is small but you can use the pool from Hyatt Regency next door for free which is outdoor and bigger.

Even after I checked out early, I called back later with questions with my bill, and he immediately took ownership of the situation, addressed my concerns, and made sure everything was handled professionally. During my stay, he made me feel at home and always attentive to anything I needed. On top of that, the fact that he is bilingual was huge plus, as it made communication even easier and showed his ability to connect with and assist a wider range of guests. It’s rare to find someone with that level of care, professionalism, and leadership. He has portential to be in a management position because of the way he handles customers and situations with confidence and responsibility.

The check-in took forever due to an inexperienced / ill-trained front desk clerk.
