Hilton Garden Inn Mobile East Bay / Daphne

Traveling with pets sometimes an issue, but not at this hotel very pet friendly access from the bottom floor. The room size we had was very nice for a family of five. Grounds were well kept, air conditioning, swimming pool, workout room were all utilized. Nice café in the hotel only two problems. We had the pullout couch that formed a bed for our fifth. Member needs replacing and the cost at the café was ridiculously high compared to other food available near the hotel.

The pool needed cleaned. Fellow swimmers were told it had just been cleaned but cloudy and very strong chlorine! Perfect stay beyond that and it did not stop my son from swimming!

Wonderful hot breakfast and a quick to go store for food during your stay. An indoor and an outdoor pool and lovely exercise room. The staff was all smiling and helpful. It gave a very welcoming vibe.

Great location for a one-day stop on our route. Convenient to dining and shopping. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to us and our pets. Parking was difficult as they were very busy.

Friendly & helpful staff, clean rooms, and easy parking. We enjoy our stay here when traveling to the Gulf.

The room was very clean and modern. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like.

The matress was a bit too firm and the blankets were pretty course and not very soft

Great cleanliness and mattresses are very comfortable. I have 4 dislocated discs in my back and neck and this is the most comfortable bed I had in a while.

Very clean and we own a cleaning company. Couldn't even find spots in the carpeting in hallways. We stayed in Room 405 with 2 dogs. The hotel only let dogs in certain rooms which often can mean other dogs have had accidents or marked and our dogs ALWAYS find those spots & butu their noses for LONG periods of time. If u have a dog u probably know what I mean. Not the case in 405. Firm mattress if you have a bad back. Sides of it weren't "broken down" from people sitting. Only 2 areas for improvement would be a heated pool. It probably was heated but in an air conditioned indoor room like that, it needs to be warmer and I'm very hot blooded and rarely need a warm pool. Second area is please stop charging for breakfast at all HGI. You could have both (free items on a counter AND cook to order for a price in the restaurant/bar area). We knew this before staying, but really wish we would have tried Hampton Inn directly on the Bay for that reason alone. Great job maintenance and cleaning peeps. Every one of you we saw and chatted with were VERY friendly AND helpful. Yes, we tipped. Travelers, please tip your service people when they've done an amazing job.

Was given an accessible room. The bathroom needed a lot of work. Shower seat was broken and it was not super clean . We did not need those amenities so we were fine.

Its okay but the ratings are too high. Not the cleanest or best room cleaning but it’s not bad. Good for $100-$125 range but overpriced at $150
