Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte Concord Golf Resort & Spa

Good bar and sports TV's. Easy free parking. Good spacious rooms. Staff advice got us to a great restaurant nearby. No negatives I can think of: ideal if you dont need expensive downtown Charlotte.

Cons: airport prices if you use the store. $5 for a bottle of Coke. Breakfast is promoted as ending at 10:30am. However, the shutdown process appeared to start about 10:00am. After my meal, I went back for a banana and most of the fruit had been removed (that’s when I noticed the staff removing items). To me, that’s not fair to people who may plan to get to breakfast at 10:15 only to find limited selection. I did not get an omelette because the line was long (but that was my choice). I was told they were good so you may have to wait. I must add that, if you ask for something, they may oblige as in my case. I mentioned the banana situation and was politely asked how many do I want? I did not use the bar, but there is a spacious outdoor sitting area where I saw cocktails brought to folks in my group. A large Jenga set and the 2 fire pits were a nice attraction.

Staff was ok. We have about 40 kids running around having a good time, and the staff had complaints about them. Besides that, it was good and clean.

I was charge on booking with hotels.com, then charged again from the hotel when I checked out. A huge mess to get refund. Room bathroom was dirty. Would never staying at an Embassy Suites again.

Its been remodeled !!!! Even nicwr than the pictures

Our trip at the Embassy is usually great. They did a lot of remodeling, but was not pleased with the new look the room we was promised was supposed to have a king size bed Little do we find there was a queen size very small and there was supposed to be a pullout sofa, but it was more like twin size. The bathroom didn’t have a sink inside. They moved the sink to where you set up your food at moved the coffee in the microwave area so a lot of the changes in the room that we had was not pleasing to over booked very packed. It seems as if it was over booked because it was so many things going on family reunions parties. We was looking for more of a quiet peaceful stay so with that being said, if you want peace and quiet on the weekend, that might not be your hotel

the pool is nice. its small and also cant accomadate the amount of people the hotel books everyday. there was a girls scoccer team in the hotel they took over the hotel. the fathers were in the lobby drunk and yelling till 1am. the teenage girls took over the pool and it was unusable to anyone else. staff did nothing. there is a large breakfeast buffet with lots options. that is meh. its nothing to rave about. if you have had a hotel breakfast you have this. there are alot of resturants around ti choose from. traffic is good in the area, the mall is right down the road and Target is just a few miles away.

The gym has a cable machine that is broken. There is also only 1 bench. Which was occupied when I arrived. Super confused as to why this hotel only had 1 bench. They easily could have had 3 to 4 in this space without any issue.

I had one problem my carpet was always wet inside my room . Thank you for the great hospitality!

The guy making the omelets was very overwhelmed and overstimulated. He asked for assistance with someone getting onions and they gave him attitude right in front of guest. We waited in line for 45 minutes just for an omelette

During the Friday night of our stay, the bar area was closed for a private event. They moved the evening reception to the area around the fountain but the kitchen wasn't available to order from. The hotel wasn't what I was expecting from an Embassy Suites based on my numerous previous stays.
