Hotel Saint Clair- Magnificent Mile

Very clean, wonderful staff, great hot water and pressure, comfortable bed that leans slightly firm which is really nice imo. Great staff, too! Would definitely stay here again

The rooms were really tiny with barely any room to move around. The bathroom was also very small, including the sink. One thing I did like was the location—it’s within walking distance of a lot of shops. They also had pizza available in the lobby and a restaurant on-site, which was a nice bonus.

Double room was very small. It would have been nice to have a chair, table and better lighting around the full mirror. We had suitcases and stuff all over the floor because the room was so small.

First time staying downtown Chicago and the hotel made the stay absolutely wonderful. I will definitely stay here next time. I’m in town.

This was the perfect place and location for our brief trip. It’s not fancy but has the basics you need. Our room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We slept very well. Yes, you will hear sirens, but it didn’t bother me even though I’m usually a light sleeper. The only thing I disliked was being woke up early by the cleaning staff working in the checked out rooms and their loud walkie talkies going off. Aside from that, all staff were polite and helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others.

I appreciate the staff's kindness during communication. Multiple things I hated were the price for the hotel, and no access to any luxury amenities or services. There was no breakfast, no fridge, no oven, and no access to a tea kettle. Also, the worst part is to go to the 2nd floor every time and fill up the water bottle, which is ridiculous after paying a handsome amount to the hotel. What kind of service are you providing after taking such money from a tourist? No welcome drinks or complimentary services, either.

Great location and price point.

As for the room and hotel, it is not high end - very basic in its offerings. Rooms definitely show wear and tear. It is not a luxury hotel. It's also located near a hospital, be prepared to listen to sirens all times of day. Windows are not well insulated.

Older hotel in River North. Microscopic lobby. Occasionally disinterested desk staff. Immaculate room, great a/c, good shower and good water pressure, comfortable bed, and quiet. "Amenities" weren't exactly visible but, to a fair extent, that reflects the small footprint of the hotel. I'd stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is so close to the magnificent mile, Riverwalk and any restaurant you’d want to visit. We actually had dinner the first night in the hotel restaurant Nora and I have to say the food was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff friendly, great location, great value for money The position of the aircon was really unpractical Down by one of the sides of the beds, meaning one bed bad aircon blasting in their face whole night and one bed didn’t get any I appreciate small rooms but I would of preferred and expected an air con unit to be higher on wall not bed hight

It was clean and in a great location and every staff member was kind and answered any questions The elevators were really small,but they always worked and we never had to wait long.

The room was kind of small and I found a finger nail on the night stand. The coffee shop is also not in the hotel like advertised. But I will say all of the staff members were very friendly.

Good location for downtown - bus stop right outside, short walk to nearest red line stop and riverside not much further. Room had comfortable bed and modern bathroom.

Exceptional

The staff is exceptionally helpful and kind. This place is a hidden jewel among the list of hotels in Chicago because of its proximity to shopping and restaurants. This is my third stay at this hotel. I plan to stay at this hotel the next time I am in Chicago.
