We ordered dinner and breakfast from the restaurant Angeline's (room service). The food was warm (soup was not hot, oatmeal was not hot) -- most of all -- the food was not tasty. We didn't eat much of the food, and would not recommend this restaurant. Valet parking staff was excellent. Bellhops (who helped us with our bags when we checked in and checked out and brought a cart up to our room) was very helpful and friendly!!!

Everything was great for a quick getaway

We stayed so we could go to the Chris Stapleton concert at the football stadium. So glad we did, no parking issues, no long lines of traffic. The hotel is in a great spot for restaurants and things do.

First stay in Charlotte and this is where we will stay on return visits. Super easy walk to the Bank of America Stadium. Had dinner in on-site hotel and it was excellent. Many restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance.

The staff was very friendly from the time we pulled into valet parking until we packed our last suitcase in our vehicle. Valet parking was full but the young man politely instructed us where to park (in the connected garage) and how much it was going to cost. The room was clean and we had a view of the ballpark. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast or the rooftop bar but overheard other guests exclaiming about both being nice. Breakfast is usually free for Diamond members also. We would definitely stay here when we are Downtown Charlotte again.

A couple of weeks after checking out, I realized I had accidentally left my Bose speaker in my room. I submitted a lost-and-found inquiry, and Kimberly Johnson, Assistant Director of Housekeeping, responded the very next day. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly pleasant to work with from start to finish. Kimberly quickly confirmed that my speaker had been located and went above and beyond to help get it returned to me. She allowed me to provide my own prepaid FedEx shipping label, which saved me money compared to using the hotel’s third-party shipping service. Throughout the process, she kept me informed, provided photos of the item and package, and even sent confirmation once it had been dropped off with FedEx. What impressed me most was Kimberly’s genuine commitment to guest service. She made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless and handled everything with kindness, professionalism, and a positive attitude. Kimpton Tryon Park should be proud to have employees like Kimberly representing the hotel. She turned a lost item into a memorable customer service experience, and her efforts absolutely deserve recognition. Thank you again, Kimberly, for going above and beyond! 👏👏👏

Close to stadium, staff was super helpful and nice Didn’t have microwave in room

The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful with every question we had asked. We loved the fact that checkout time is noon. We attended a concert the previous evening and we slept in late. Had a really great breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant ( Angelina’s).

Room was great! Excellent location

Safe, clean, comfortable, close to all the things we planned to do. The property was great. From coffee and tea downstairs to comfortable beds and great views. Maybe a keurig in the room would be nice.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were warm and informative.

The beds were comfortable and the view from the room was cool. It was walking distance to the stadium. The staff had bad attitudes. They didn’t honor the breakfast package we had purchased. Their website says the roof top is open during the day for views and yoga. It doesn’t open until 4:30 according to the front desk who had it blocked off. It also closes at 11:15 pm so we checked in and went to our concert, came back to it closed. Got up the next morning to go show our teen the roof before checking out only to be told no.

Very Nice, but honestly, I've stayed in plenty of other places for half the price that were just as clean and nice.
