SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bakersfield

The suite was really nice. Looks like the hotel renovated the rooms. They where up to date and clean. The main lobby however was under renovation this the breakfast area was not available. They had to resort in giving out Breakfast in to go bags. Kind of kills the experience a bit. At check in the staff did apologize for the renovations and even offered free cancellation. Will stay again once it's completed.

Not to notify potential customers of a construction renovation is unbelievably inconsiderate. You offer free breakfast however a bag of food is not what I consider worthy or your name or brand ( and on top of that I received some mystery bag of food that was not what I ordered)

They are remodeling right now. However, the staff is always good at this location. They carry good things at the little food mart. The air was horrible because of the remodeling. I think they should have masks available for guests. Good masks. The room was spotless but after I checked out they called and said they found my Marijuana and did I want to come back and get it??? Wasn't mine, I don't know where they found it because the room was so clean when I arrived. Anyway, the only negative is the tv. They have a huge tv in the room with a fantastic picture. I had it turned up to 90 and I could only hear it if the air conditioner wasn't running. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! I put on closed captions but I still want to hear it. It really bummed me out. The rooms are big and have a nice work area. It's a good hotel. Tgere were no children in sight. Yay!

The room was super clean That j was not told about the construction that was have no no there till I arrived and that the breakfast was to go.

Stop over overnight for us. Clean. We used the fitness centre and pool. Renovations while we were there, that I wasn’t aware of. Not a big deal, but we had to have breakfast in our room.

The first time since I have been a bonvoy member wished I hadn't been. The entire lobby area was under construction which is fine, I appreciate the fact that they're keeping the hotel but it was not announced on the website or during my registration process or even after registration a construction noise was very loud all day. I had to use the room for all my remote work calls and meetings and we wandered next door during the middle of the stay to the Hilton garden inn. I still have my hiltoners points. Looks like I'll be switching back to them after this. The rooms were decent but staff were preoccupied in with the construction and the noise and the the really impractical availability of the business center or the dining facilities impacted the stay greatly.

Room was clean did not like the sensor lights there were too many. Breakfast area under construction was not told when booking was done.

The staff was doing their best to keep things running professionally through all of it, and they are highly commended for their kindness, helpfulness, and hard work to remain positive while jackhammers were the backdrop for phone calls, customer questions, etc. I would look forward to staying here again.... after the construction is completed.

Great staff clean easy check in and breakfast out early where I was able to eat before we left and it was so good! No complaints
