Walnut Creek Marriott

Will never return! Did not bother to tell us ahead of time the room had an odd window, The only window looked out into a hallway which is the entrance to the swimming pool. Poolgoers walking to pool look straight on into our room, so window useless. Had to keep curtain closed and room very dark. Light in room could not be turned off, making it hard to sleep. Refused to give a senior discount. Their excuse was we had reserved via Expedia, and should have requested through them. We wanted to arrive at hotel and reserve in person, but this was not allowed. On top of everything else, not advised the hotel has no parking lot for guests, except for those required to pay $35.00 per nite valet parking. What a welcome to guests! Very uncaring and shabby way to treat guests, even those paying over $160.00 pr nite, plus $35.00 per nite parking!

We always stay here when we visit Northern California.

Front desk was very friendly as well and helpful. I was unable to get the front desk, ladies name, but she wore glasses and had dark hair. I appreciate her help.

Update to date accomodations. Room very comfortable bedding, very nice bathroom. Excellent location. Over night stay.

Accommodations for our late check-in were great. Maybe just make sure the bathrooms in each room are fully stocked. We ran out of body wash. Thank you!

Staff was amazing. Hats off to Valet

We didn't eat breakfast, but the room was beautiful and we felt taken care of. My son and I stayed while he had a volleyball tournament and I was so happy that even late when we got back to the hotel, I was able to get a little glass of wine on my way to the room. Thank you for the hospitality and the coffee in the morning. Everyone was so very kind. What a wonderful experience.

Staff were helpful, Good room, Breakfast was average.

Thin walls. Could hear neighboring room clear as could be and they were loud and up late! A/C or fan was not operable. The room was cool enough but we had no control over the unit. Parking was valet only and no complimentary breakfast. Pool closes early and no hot tub.

Staff was very helpful. did not realize until i showed up to check in that all parking is done through the vallet due to lack of parking in general. Ended up not being a big deal, had in and out access while staying there. at check ini asked the person at the desk if there was any kind of continential breakfast being served in the morning, he gave me a pass for a free breakfast in their resturant. Saturday morning they had a buffet and a chef making omelets... excellent breakfast! great service! Friendly staff! Will stay there again next time in the area

My only complaint is that the room was super small

I have stayed here before and it convinced me to stay a second time. I love the hotel, BART is close by and you can get anywhere fast. The only concern was checking in. There was one individual working the front counter. He was not personable and even came across as short. You would almost guess he was frustrated about being out there by himself at 4:00 PM and multiple peonies line

We have stayed here before, but this time can't give it 5 stars. The hallway was noisy late at night with kids running down it yelling and then we were close to the concierge dining and they began setting up early in the morning, talking in the hallway. Also, heard the valet parking crew pushing car remotes to find the cars at 3 am. Then the room alarm clock went of at 4 a.m.!!! Can the house keepers just make sure they are turned off so the guest doesn't get a surprise wake up alarm they don't want!!! Didn't get much sleep. Then two times we went in for breakfast and they only had white toast. I might be able to understand one time as it was 20 minutes until close but the second time was 50 minutes!!! Rethinking our next stay. This is a nice hotel with a good location, but this visit was not the best for us sadly.
