The rooms were just ok not horrible.The staff was very friendly and helpful especially when it came to the overflowing of cars because not enough parking spaces. This was only a problem on the weekend.

Booked a stay ahead of time and when we arrived at 5pm rooms were not ready, after 20 min she walked us to a room that had people in it, then to another room that was filthy, stains all over sofa beds and beds..when I pointed out the stains her response was we can put a sheet over. Requested refund and left. Do not book here

This property was sufficient for our needs, which was basically a place to sleep and shower during a soccer tournament. We didn’t use the pool, as it was a short walk to the beach. Rooms are basic but clean. Lakeside rooms have balconies. Owners were friendly and responsive. Biggest drawback is the very small parking lot. Even a small SUV was difficult to maneuver.

The floor was filthy when we checked in. The door didnt seal shut all the way ( we were on the ground floor). There were bugs in the room. Parking sucked. There was black mold around the outlet. We ended uo only staying one night out of three due to the conditions. They do not do refunds.

Room was clean and fresh. No insects. Great view of lake with ducks and turtles. Kids fed the ducks. Swimming pool very clean. Quiet sleep nights. Management and cleaning staff very nice and helpful.

we drove down from New Jersey and wanted a room that wasn't going to be too expensive but nice. sometimes, when looking for a room, cheaper than the rest seems scary but I am so glad we picked this one. Despite seeing how small the parking lot was, everything was perfect for us. We didn't get there until nearly midnight and the staff, a family I assume, stayed up and waited for us with no complaints. They gave us what they called "the best room" and I figured they probably say that to everyone but when we saw our room, I believe it actually was the best room! We were in room 223, which was upstairs all the way in the left corner with a beautiful view of the lake which had turtles and ducks and geese and flying fish. The room was very clean and everything worked as it should. The staff was friendly although the cleaning lady was kind of harsh. When I asked her if we can get another trash bag and one more towel, she said "today isn't your cleaning day, I'm doing checkouts". but that was just her, the rest of the staff, the family, was awesome. and we decided to put our trash in an empty chip box we had. we loved waking up to the Lakeview and walking down on the dock to enjoy everything it had to offer. Overall, we had a great time and if we come back down to Virginia, I would enjoy staying here again!

a bit of false advertising............. warm refrigerator, one single rolling desk chair, no coffee maker, no ice available, toilet tissue had to balance on tub edge ( no holder), microwave did not work.. parking was ridiculous, no comment on pool. children ran wild all day. it did have really decent air conditioning and mattress was comfortable. no extra linens in the room.

Hotel needs a makeover but staff was friendly and the room was decent for the price.

I loved that you get to have a view of the lake. The room itself is very basic it has had a few updates which are nice. It's not the cleanest so it's definitely not for someone that is very particular. My bed sheets had stains on them as well as the shower curtain. The mattress was probably one of the cheapest mattress you could buy from a mattress place but it wasn't terrible just not the best. I did see in other reviews that the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall and it still is! The bathroom is small but manageable. Water pressure and temps are good. If you're looking for somewhere basic to just sleep then this is a perfect place for you to stay. Parking is very tight especially if you have a bigger SUV. If you do have a bigger SUV and decide to stay here, stay to the left of the parking lot don't go to the right side!! It's very accessible and walkable to the beach and tons of stores and restaurants. So the location is very convenient. I still feel like what I paid was worth the stay. They do have a vending machine and ice machine outside. The room did come with soaps and lotions, also a microwave and refrigerator in pretty excellent conditions.

No complaints whatsoever! Stayed here a couple years ago and this visit was just as good. Rooms look to have been renovated in that time and the location is SO good. Will definitely use them again on my next beach visit!

A nice place for family stay. Room is nice and clean.

This property is not even close to average. The parking lot is close and crowded. The linens were clean but minimal. When asked them for enough towels for each person to have one they we very willing to provide them. There was a small kitchenette area but there was NOTHING in it except a microwave--not one plate, bowl, pan, fork, spoon, etc. There was a pull-out couch we needed to use but it was incredibly lumpy, the springs were messed up, it sank in the middle, etc. In other words, it was TERRIBLE. (not close to being useable) The living area and bedroom had TVs that worked well. The room advertised suitable for 6 persons--there was one chair in the whole place, 2 queen beds which were good and a pullout couch that was unusable. Also, a small table, but no chairs around it. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Beautiful view and a great room for the most affordable price close to the ocean. Water pressure was also great. My only complain is the internet, it was not good. Everything else was beyond my expectations and I would come back

Cool spot for couples.

Hotel had a beautiful view and is very conveniently located. The parking is too tight especially if the lot is full. The room was visibly clean but our feet turned black after walking around the room. I was also surprised at the lack of blankets on the beds. We had two sheets on each bed which was not enough to keep warm at night. The property has so much potential if it were cleaner.

Kind and courteous staff. Wish we had more towels or washcloths to work with. Nice stay overall.

Could definitely use repairs and maintenance.

Me and my family loved it and staff was great as well had no problems while we stayed and my kid loved it as well cause he could fish all day long with there fishing dock with a great view of the lake we will diffidently be come back soon

Tv wasn’t working, the mattress weren’t the proper size as the bed frames, and will move around every time you would lean on them. Road noise was as clear as it in the room.
