My room smelt moldy as soon as you walked in. The shower curtain had mold on it, my wife got bit by something in our bed the first few nights and some special chocolates we bought for our kids back home got taken from our room from room service.

The actual property was clean. Wished it was help when we arrived to get a cart. I also saw an older couple that had to get a cart and get their own things on a cart. It was Juneteeth weekend with No live R& B music for entertainment or nothing representing Happy JUNETEENTH. Asked for wash cloth and towels in the am, had to call again and received it that evening.

The location and facility is very nice but the rooms were not clean, dusty furniture, trash under the air conditioner and in the bathroom, hair on wash clothes and bed linens and the sofa and chair made us itch.

Me and my significant other had a blast would definitely return and recommend to everyone we know.

Absolutely lovely place to stay in VA beach! Staff was helpful, kind, and very friendly, the grounds were beautiful and the amenities were amazing. I will be back for a personal self-care weekend!

Not the best but not bad at all maybe because we were there Father’s Day’s weekend. Too busy and room was not ready on check in time it was 2 hours delayed. Transferred us to another room. On the good side staffs are very accommodating

A location was fabulous I enjoyed the pool areas close to shops.. The staff was amazing everybody so friendly very warm welcome The hotel really needs to update the rooms the furniture... It's not worth the value of the money for as old as the hotel is..

No smoking allowed but could smell Marijuana coming from our next door neighbor, not happy about that. Plus, our little refrigerator freezer quit working and they replaced it with one with no freezer. That's my ony complaint.

Rooms were clean. Staff was very pleasant to work with. Well maintain property right on the Beach couldn't ask for more.

This was a spur of the moment stay, and I did not put a lot of research into the hotel before booking. We were coming from a nearby location so got to the hotel way before check in and I was not expecting a room at the time of arrival (11:30am) The staff at the fron desk were pleasent and helpful and preregistered me so when the room was ready all of the paperwork would be complete. They also provided a welcome bag including hotel information, 2 bottles of water and the key and wristbands needed to use the amenities which was a nice perk. The pool area had a children's pool and then a free for all pool. The pools were small so the pool being used by everyone was quite crowded but mainly by young (under 10) children that were poorly supervised. There is no lifeguard or staff to monitor the pools so if parents aren't paying attention the pool is kind of taken over by kids jumping off the sides or throwing balls while others are trying to use the pool. I received a text at 3:30 that my room was ready and it all went downhill. When we got to the room given it was occupied. It then took over an hour for another room to be given to us but quoted as "an upgrade." I had booked a king studio, and their version of an upgrade was giving me a queen "suite." The room had no hand soap or bodywash in the bathroom and we were told some would be brought right up, which never happened. Sliding glass door in the bedroom didn't close which let all of the AC out the door.

Absolutely everything! The rooms! The staff! The food! The location! The pool! Nothing.

I booked a Oceanfront Room Suite with a King bed. When we arrived, first the room was very small, don't let the pictures fool you. Second, the bed was not a Kind, it is a Queen. When I called down to the front desk, they told me all oceanfront rooms are queens. Not sure, but the seems like false advertising. Very disappointing. The rooms are a bit dated, with dated furniture, no closet, only an armoire. That being said, the hotel was very nice, nice pools and small bar outside. Nice indoor adult only pool too! Front desk staff were very helpful and nice.

This is the worst hotel we have stayed in.

We had a great stay but our freezer was broke and noisy, the hotel room floor was swept but hadn’t been mopped in a long long time our feet were immediately black and disgusting so we bought cheap slipper socks, and the kids pool was in need of some repairs and updating and warmer water! The other pool was adults only so I don’t know about that one but if you are going to limit where I can go with my kids atleast make the water WARM.
