Nice little hotel. The room was adequate size. The pool areas were wonderful. And you could hear the live music from the bar area in the main pool. They give you complimentary towels, chairs and umbrellas on the beach. The only disappointment was there is not actually a restaurant on premises, or at least not one that we could find. The outdoor bar had many tables but I only saw people drinking. I think you could order food and they deliver it to you, but we couldn't find a place to sit, so we walked to a couple of my nearby restaurants during our stay.

Good option for beach access and on site live music and entertainment. Nice to have chairs and umbrella included in reservation. Pool is much smaller than pictures. Room was not ready at scheduled check in which I’ve never had happen. Also stayed for 3 nights and they never fully cleaned room. They said they only do every other day and then even then they only came in and put a stack of towels on dresser and emptied trash. Beds were never made.

Excellent relation price-value! This hotel have acces to the beach, great bar with live music and everything you need if you looking for a clean and good conditions room to rest after a beach's day!

Room was good, Jimmy B's was great as usual

When booking on line there was no mention of a $35/day resort fee. Linen on bed was not comfortable. Sheets felt like we were sleeping on sand paper. They had little pill balls all over them. Parking was a challenge. Should consider placing families with children on bottom floor as the family above us was overly noisy which we could hear through the ceiling.

Live entertainment was excellent

I stay here for nostalgic reasons so I may be a little biased. St Pete beach sunsets are unmatched!
-
Great service, nice staff and clean rooms. Music was moderate and pleased every ask. The pathway to the beach was clean and easy to find, the umbrellas and chairs is definitely a game changer.

Renovated rooms beautiful beach views. Friendly staff

As for amenities. It has 2 pools and opened all night. The visitors were conscientious and didn’t make loud noises at night. It also provides 2 lounge chairs at the beach. The only setback is they put out the chairs around 9am and are picked up by 5pm. We woke up at 7am to walk the beach. After planned to sit out on the beach. Realized the lounge chairs were not there. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel. Loved the chairs to sit out in front the the room.

Location is excellent! The hotel is generally well-kept. I have been there 2 years in a row and this was my third time. I loved it enough to keep coming back and planned to make it my annual summer vacation spot. However, this time, housekeeping could be improved…my room wasn’t cleaned during my 6-day stay. When I asked mid-week for a change towels, re-supply toilet paper, etc, the bare minimum was done, no cleaning was done, no beds made, no bath mat was replaced, and they left the dirty towels and bags of garbage on the chairs outside my room. Next morning I asked a cleaner to move them. Not so happy with that. I would also like to see the return of the cabanas on the beach for use by the guests and the hours of use for the beach chairs and umbrellas extended to 6pm (or at the very least 5:30). There should also be rules for the pool, specifically pertaining to no ball throwing in the pool (even if the ball is a soft sponge ball)….kids and adults were throwing the ball to each other and I found it inconsiderate with other guests wanting to enjoy the pool.

AVOID. Room itself was ok. kind of beat up. no soap ever provided. Primary issue was that housekeeping stole a credit card from the room which was hidden inside a zippered backpack and used to attempt up $1,000+ of charges at a gas station and 2 Publix stores. Police Report filed with Pinellas County Sheriff's Office. Hotel management was uncooperative and only said they "trust their staff" in spite of the evidence presented to them. The police will take it from here, but the management really didn't care at all - and maybe were in on it since they showed such little surprise and didn't care to investigate at all. Stay at your own risk! On a positive note, the beach bar was very good as was the chair/umbrella attendants on the beach.

Easy check-in, a fridge in the room, nice pools (though chairs are limited), and great live music at Jimmy's. The hotel grounds appeared well maintained—we saw painters and maintenance crews working daily. Parking is tight, with overflow across the street. The boardwalk foot shower barely sprays, some stairs need repair, and several hammocks had broken strings and no shade. While we enjoyed Jimmy's, the restaurant area wasn't as well maintained. We found sand in seats and plastic cups and lime wedges left on cushions, and wobbly stairs. Housekeeping was another frustration. Despite the resort fee which includes housekeeping, our room wasn't cleaned, sand wasn't swept, and toiletries weren't replenished. We requested shampoo and body wash, but they never arrived, leaving us to rely on bar soap. Beach chairs are put away before 6 PM, even though summer sunsets are after 8 PM. Apparently, the chairs have a stricter curfew than most teenagers. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but stronger enforcement of the non-smoking policy and clearer communication about housekeeping would improve the experience.

This was a last minute stay at St Pete Beach so hotel availability was limited. We arrived around 3 pm, check in is 4pm, and was told that we could check in but our room was not ready and they would text us when the room was ready. We waited until around 4:15 pm and did not receive a text so we went in to check on the room. We were told it was ready. I don’t know why we didn’t receive a text message informing us it was ready. Our room was close to the pool on the second floor. There are no elevators. The room was nothing like the website. It was small, smelled like mold, the furniture was old and dirty, the end tables and lights next to the bed were mismatched, the bathroom was somewhat updated but the mirror was rusty and the toilet ring on the wall was rusted and pulling away from the wall. There was not a big light to turn on and the fan in the bathroom did not work. The headboard was dirty. The door had a gap underneath it and on the side. The website states the beds have pillow top mattresses but I think that is not accurate. The bed was so hard it hurt every joint in my body. The pool was nice but there were a lot of people drinking in the pool and very little space to enjoy it. The beach was close and they have chairs, umbrellas and beach towels available. The parking is crazy. I see a lot of good ratings about this hotel by people and I feel like they are friends of the owner or people who have not stayed at a nice hotel and don’t know any different.

I had high expectations for this stay but left disappointed. Rooms are equivalent to motel 8. Refrigerator smelled and worked poorly. Air conditioner barely got the room cool. No chairs in the room and no balcony. Furniture old and damaged. No balcony. Bathroom door would not lock or stay closed. The courtyard is still a really cool place to hang out but is not being groomed. They do have a very nice open air beach bar with live music. They also offer beach chairs and umbrellas from 9-5. After and before that which is my favorite time to be on the beach you have to sit in the sand. Parking was in a alley on each side of the building. The staff was top notch but it seems like the owner stopped putting money into it years ago. First time ever writing a bad review about a place I stayed

Beds are comfy & shower is string👍 Parking us a challenge; narrow & only one way in/out - on the same lane👎
