Beds were mattresses with springs thin pad on it elevator was broke most of the time rest was ok

Property amenities and location were amazing. Restaurants were outrageously priced though. Facilities were in need of repair and staff needs training.

Nice rooms. Great amenities. Elevator wasn’t working for 1 day. Other than that it was a great experience.

We had an overall great stay — the property is comfortable, and the ocean view was amazing. The staff were friendly, and the location worked well for our trip. The atmosphere felt relaxed, and most essentials were exactly as expected. There are a few areas future travelers should know about. The carpet was noticeably dirty, which took away from the otherwise clean feel. Replacing the carpet with tile would be a meaningful improvement. The air conditioner was quite noisy, especially at night, which may bother light sleepers. There’s no proper pathway between buildings, making it less convenient to move around the property. Despite these issues, the stay was still enjoyable, and the positives outweighed the inconveniences. With a bit more attention to maintenance and accessibility, this place could be excellent.

What I didn’t like is that we got all of our towels including shower, hand and floor towels but no wash clothes when we checked into the room. Usually we get wash clothes but I had to call front desk and ask them to bring some up. They brought them up but like i mentioned no wash clothes were in the room at check in. They just need to make sure all types of towels are in the room before guests can stay in the room. Other than that everything else at the hotel was great! Thank you, Devin Valentine!

It was a beautiful view and access to the beach. Many pools which was cool. Had a blast there but there were a couple downfalls. The floor in the room was dirty/ not mopped or cleaned. Also the shower had hair still in it. A glass in the cabinet was dirty. The beds looked pretty clean. When asking the front desk where the gym was, she said she didn’t know and sent is to the sister hotel next door. There was literally a fitness room in our hotel also, which we later found. Also, during s’mores time, the smoke from the fire smokes out the other half of the beach/bar/sitting area. To be honest, I would return because of the convenience to the beach and the grounds/pools were very cool.

The perfect vacation! My husband and I came here for our honeymoon and it was great. The room was very clean and the golf cart to and from the island grande hotel was very useful as well. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

Our TV didn't work the entire stay. I reported it to the front desk and they sent someone to fix it but it was not fixed so we were not able to utilize it at all.

We reserved a 2 queen bedroom villa, when we arrived the hostess appeared to not care too much about her job and did not offer the champagne, (which I saw on you tube and was excited to enjoy) once we entered our room, it was full of bugs, like abnormally full of bugs. We spent one night, which we didint get queen beds, they well full beds. My wife woke up with bed bug bits,(I’ll upload) photos. Once I complained, the manager was extremely thoughtful and listened, he sent us to another building to which we now had 2 queen beds. It finally felt like we got what we paid for. The room was extremely nice. I feel that is what we should have had from the start since we paid for that… The surprise parking fees ($25.00 daily) and resort fees ($55.00 daily) was a surprise. Once we walked around the resort things came together. We were able to walk between hotels and enjoy all of the amenities including pools and restaurants. My family started to love the resort. We planned on driving else where but realized, we really didint need to leave the resort as it had EVERYTHING. One downfall, I will admit was when we were waiting for a shuttle one of the managers approached us and tried to sell us a timeshare, but initially labeled it as a tour and not a presentation I did not like how she tried to manipulate me and my wife, and she was extremely pushy which clearly he was trying to push a Hilton timeshare. Besides all the negatives, I will say my family had a positive experience.

The amenities were exceptional! Our room was dirty and outdated. Front desk clerk checking in was short and rude. I would suggest staying at the tradewinds other hotel which we spent most of our time. Be careful beach service adds in gratuity and doesn’t tell you

The Beach was amazing! Most people were very nice. All though I broke my foot, went to the desk for ice, & was told to go up to the 3rd floor. I seriously couldn't walk. The Buildings aren't connected,so I couldn't even walk there in the AC. I paid a lot of $ to stay here. Not happy. I'll stay somewhere else. If I come to St.Pete.

We had a wasp nest on our balcony that we reported to the front desk, and it was never removed. The beds were extremely hard & you could only use one side to get out of ....The addition of "resort fees" & parking made the stay very expensive ...

    Love it

I gave a three star review for a few reasons… 6 floors with 4 ice machines and none of them worked both days, in Florida on a resort on the beach?!? The elevators are a nightmare. One of the elevators was out of commission both days; the lights didn't work on some of the buttons so you weren’t sure if it was coming or going to stop on your floor. ALSO, The elevators are hot super so hot if it broke down with you on it idk how long you would last and the glass was super dirty on the window (this might sound nitpicking just when you spend $400 a night you expect it to be well kept)… I have no problem taking the stairs honestly I’d prefer stairs when we don’t have our luggage HOWEVER, when you decide to take the stairs it smells horrible like New Orleans in summertime horrible. We have no complaints about the staff or the rooms. The beds are comfortable we slept well and our balcony was supposed to be resort view but we had a view of the ocean which was a nice surprise.

Several dining options, with the access to the other TradeWinds location, allowed for a different meal each night. Our favorite was the Italian restaurant. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Even our cleaning lady, who didn’t speak English, was so sweet. She got her phone out and translated messages so she could understand what I wanted her to do. If you want a great location for a family beach vacation, this is the spot!

The room was small. Not a lot of activities for family with kids.
