Overall, our experience was okay. However, wherever you turn, you notice little things . . . a loose shower handle, exposed nuts/bolts at the base of the toilet, etc. Simple maintenance issues that differentiate a down-at-the-heels hotel from a good property. As for room service, we never broke the code on which days our room might be made up. Better hotels tell you what you might expect at check-in. The hotel breakfast was no better or worse than that offered by the chains. On the plus side, the kitchen staff did a good job of mixing the seven or so hot dish choices so that you were not seeing the same combination on a daily basis.

The property is unique and somewhat unusual because of its distinctive design outside and inside. The interior decorative design and furniture is very interesting. The amenities are excellent, the rooms are very clean, the new mirrors with lights and new showers are wonderful, the front desk staff is kind, the bar is open to 9:00 pm and serves food, the pool and fitness room are spectacular, and their breakfast is great. I highly recommend this property for your next stay in the Bloomington/ Normal area. I only wish they would offer incentives for students and families of ISU students

We traveled for eight days. This is the best motel we ever been in. The staff was excellent. Micah was the greatest. The front desk were really kind. The food was great if we travel again we’ll probably go right back there.

No shower doors. Water went everywhere

Beautiful design throughout the whole property. Staff was welcoming, informative, and efficient. The layout of amenities is well thought out. Definitely saving this location on my maps for any time I come through Bloomington area again!

We had a horrible experience. Walls were paper thin and had VERY loud guests next to us who had children running up and down the hall and pounding on our door until 2am. We called the front desk but they said they didn't have any staff to go talk to the loud guests next door. The hotel was sold out that night and they did not have any security?! We had ants in our room. The AC was horrible. The breakfast was horrible. I would give this zero stars if I could.

The best of my stay was when I got charged 1100$ extra dollars and they staff couldn’t even tell me why. I had to get my bank involved I will never be staying there again

The room was old/musty. The air conditioning was too loud, and it was difficult to fall asleep. The carpet looked worn, there was a musty smell in the room, and the bed was super uncomfortable. The bed covering and sheets were worn out as well.

It was clean and had a pool. The tv only got one channel. The bath rm faucet was loud. There was a weird smell in the building. The lady at the front desk blamed us for the rm not being ready even though I had a reservation. They messed up the billing. Charged me and my special needs son. Week later still no refund. Unfortunate how much more they charge when Special Olympics is in town.
