I’ve never stayed at a Renaissance property but my experience at this location made me only want to stay at this property. While I was in New York I moved around to a few hotels for work commitments but hated that I had to leave this property. From the large, clean rooms with an amazing view to the perfect location and onsite gym, it was everything. But what truly made my stay amazing was Gina. I checked in very late, I was tired and a little irritated from traffic and etc. As soon as I walked in she greeted me with a smile. Every time I encountered Gina she had this positive warm energy and always eager to answer any question that I had. I travel multiple times a month and you don’t come across people like Gina very often. When I’m back in Manhattan, I will only be staying here at the Renaissance and hope I get to bump into Gina again. This is the perfect Times Square Stay.

Location wise, it’s right in the middle of everything which can be a blessing and a curse. I would not stay again and book something a little further out.

Everything is very good—excellent.

Amazing view of times square

We had an amazing stay! Very convenient location and great staff! The hotel has the best view of time square! I understand the two elevator system for safety precautions, but that is the only thing that was annoying. But we’ll be back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square. Location is perfect, and the staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. It’s not necessarily the the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, but everything was fairly clean and the staff and location definitely made it a wonderful experience. Plus, there’s so much to do in the area. We spent very little time in the hotel room. We would definitely stay here again.

Bar 👎

I didn't love that there wasn't a room service option, but otherwise the hotel - rooms, staff, and location - were beyond excellent.

It is in Time square so it is noisy .. on the lower floors. I only stayed on night so it was bearable. For a longer stay I would have preferred a higher, quieter room

Awesome location and view. Great room, good size and comfy bed. Valet parked and each and every time we needed our car it was there! Amazing location and great views from the rooms and bar/restaurant. Totally recommend staying.

Location Location Location Rust water in the shower while showering. I didn’t notice until I opened my eyes and saw the water against the white tile floors. Rust water entered my mouth.

The room was clean and comfortable. Sufficient towels and pillows. Breakfast was great but a tad bit high. Street noise not good on 18th floor. Too much light from 7th street at night. I would stay there on upcoming visits if I'm not the 7th street side of the building. Keep in mind we are a senior couple. this might be okay for young folk.

The location is amazing, its very central, with great views from the bar, and is very convenient. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent. The only issue was that the elevators were frequently out of order and the wait times were insufferable.

I had a problem with my room. They put me right next to the exit to the stairs and the door slammed and woke me up. The handheld shower head is much too heavy for the holder so it bends down and is hard to shower with. All in all I enjoyed my stay.
