Great- exactly what I needed.

This staff is so friendly & helpful! The rooms and facilities are clean and comfortable.

I've stayed at Pod 51 several times and appreciate the fact that it provides exactly what I need—an affordable clean room and a comfortable bed to lay down on the few hours that I am in the room. I am usually in NYC for work, and am spending long hours at the office or catching up with colleagues over dinner. I do prefer one of the inner rooms (tends to be a little quieter), over street side, but its NYC. And thank you to the staff for making check-in and -out a friendly experience.

It was nice that the hotel provided bedroom slippers.

Great hotel for a quick stay in NYC!

Interesting and very positive experience in the Pod hotel! Traveled with my spouse and daughter and it was likeled by each of us. Bunkbed is wide for an adult and a child. Shared bathrooms were perfectly fine and many available on each floor. Two TVs per room. Ice cold AC. Feel a bit like in cruise ship - good memories. Morning coffee at the lobby cafe area. The roof top at 15 th floor is the most amazing experience! Will stay again.

Honestly such a great place to stay if you’re going on your own! My room was always kept very clean, showers were great too! Staff were very kind aswell, thank you for the hospitality!

If you are going to spend time in your hotel room, this is not for you. But if you’re planning to be out and about all day, Pod 51 is perfect. The little cafe is great if you need a quick bite and coffee. Shared bathrooms are clean but get a private room if you’re at all squeamish about wearing shower shoes when showering. Bottom line, this is a great, clean, energetic place but not luxurious.

Clean room, good for a night or two. Close to the subway, area felt safe

The staff was awesome! Everyone frim frint desk to cleaning was very friendly and helpful. The bunk bed room was very small with no fridge. However, the room was very clean. The shared bathrooms were kept very clean. I would stay here again. The location was an easy walk to the E, F, and 6 train on 3rd Ave. Also had the Lexington Ave Stop available as well. The roof deck was very relaxing and peaceful.

I was really surprised to find a reasonably priced hotel in this area of Manhattan that was this nice. Everything was perfect!

Great stay and got an upgrade! The location is perfect.

Sharing bathrooms with other guests was a non issue.

Great place to stay without costing an arm and a leg. 2 block walk to E train and then from there can get to Carnegie Hall, Union Station, and even world trade center. AC eas solid and strong. quickly cools the entire room.

Friendly and helpful staff who would go above and beyond to assist travelers. It was clean and quiet, and I hope to stay there again next time I’m in NYC.
