Very pleasant experience

The room wasn't very clean. I think the sheets were changed and vacuumed but it was very dusty, dirty, and the ice bucket still had the last person's leftovers. The TV only worked about 40% of the time - which when you need to spend time in the room and watch the World Cup, this was really disappointing. The phone didn't work either so we had to call the front desk using our cellphones. The rooms ran really hot, we had the thermostat set to 65 and it was still hot. I have no idea what that resort fee was for other than the WiFi maybe? The bar and restaurant downstairs was so ridiculously overpriced and doesn't open early enough. We always stay uptown and I was excited to try a new hotel but we'll pass on this one next time.

The hotel over chargers fees

Great location for Broadway shows and Central Park, sizable rooms esp for NYC, super comfy bed. We have no complaints.

Mostly a good stay. Quick check in. Room mostly as expected. Except the water pressure wasn’t great and the tub floods to your ankles while showering. Biggest issue was elevators. They were either slow or not both working each time.

Good value. Phone didn’t work. Safe was locked. Low water pressure in the shower. Busy elevators.

Small detail, but some of the towels they brought to the room look like they should have been put in the "rag bag" 10 years ago. Some with holes and some very worn. Only a few of them, though. Thought that was strange. For the last 1.5 days of our trip, 1 of the 2 elevators to our floor was not working causing significant delays both going up and down. I had to walk up 17 flights and still made it to my room faster than the elevator would have taken me. When I told the front desk the elevator was not working, they seemed surprised and didn't offer much assurance that they would take care of it. Staff was not very "hospitable" which is a big problem in the "hospitality" industry, in my opinion. All that said - location was great. Subway right outside the door...very convenient.
-
The room was clean and comfortable. The elevator situation wasn’t great. Took forever and ended up just taking the stairs despite being on the 10th floor.
-
Staff was good, room was clean even though I always sanitize myself with wipes or alcohol. Overall good experience.

Bathroom sink could have been caulked
-
The room smell bad and TV was not working call for service and did fix .

Good

Maintenance was very good. Room comfortable. No breakfast voucher like in the past.
-
The ice machine in our floor was not working and the only solution offered was go to another floor it took 3 days for maintenance to fix it.

I love Park Central because of its location and helpful friendly staff. The rooms are good enough. Mostly dated, in need of a refreshing coat of paint BUT it’s clean and the beds are beyond comfortable so I’ll keep staying there!
-
Our stay at the Park Central was okay. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, and the location was nice. However, the A/C does not effectively cool the room and each day the building turns off the A/C all together while you are out. Additionally, there were only 2 small, slow elevators on each side of the building so there was usually a wait. Lastly, on the day of our checkout, cleaning staff tried to open our door twice before 10:30am to come in and clean - check out was at 12pm. This left a negative impression as we left. Overall, we paid a reasonable price for a 3-night stay in a good location, but the hotel left a few things to be desired.

Great locatio near Central Park

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Everything was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, especially with luggage assistance and storage, which made our trip so much easier. The location couldn’t be better, just a short walk from Central Park and close to everything you’d want to explore. The inclusion of scooters and e‑bikes was such a fun bonus and made getting around the city an adventure. Highly recommend staying here for comfort, convenience, and great service.

Room was clean. Property a bit run down. We had a king bed room & they only gave us 2sets of towels. We arrived late & requested for another set was never delivered. Think Houskeeping left for the day but front desk & operator were not aware. I got extra towels from cleaning person the next morning. Hotel charged $48per night «Destination Fee» that is on top of room charges- so be aware. Location is good about 10 block away from Times Square so it’s not so busy. Easy to get to from multiple Subway lines. Really nice bed very comfortable & nice linens. I think it’s good value for what you pay/get in the area.

Maintenance never once answered their phone. On the positive side, comfy beds, and free wifi was pretty good.
