M Social Hotel New York Times Square

I've stayed at many hotels across the country and managed hotels in the past. I have to say for the price I was not at all impressed. The room had the bare minimum. No makeup wipes, no water, just 1 roll of TP. I've been to motel 6s that at least gave a bottle of water for the stay. They did ,however, supply shampoo/conditioner and lotion. That was all. For $1600 on a 3 night stay. I booked a Times Square view and was told that was not what I booked. Checking in was terrible. They didn't even tell me where the elevators or room were. The headboards had damage. The desk had damage. The food at the restaurant was sub par. And the staff was rude. When I voiced my concerns at the end of my stay they were essentially ignored. Choose another hotel for the price point!

Great location and the rooftop bar was great for relaxing and views. Staff was very helpful, but interiors are showing a bit of wear.

Loved the location. Felt safe traveling there. Everyone as helpful. Chose the Hudson River side rather than the Times Square side and found it to be extremely peaceful and quiet. The beds are very comfortable.

The location of this hotel is fantastic!! The rooftop bar was so much fun to have a nightly drink at and the big screen playing the World Cup was a great touch! The room was clean and comfortable with a great view of Times Square.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. You can’t ask for a better location for your first visit to the city! Times Square and Central Park are both reachable by foot, and it’s only a few minutes to the subway for longer destinations.

Everything was good while we stood there at the property.

Our bathroom had dust on the shelves. The carpet had noticeable dirt and debris, like toenails. Received several calls during our stay for "hotel sales" and was told they were forwarded from reception. We had two rooms and neither had a working thermostat, thankfully weather permitted a fans only stay. We will not be coming back.

Clean, great location, helpful staff, excellent view of Times Square area from veranda bar Elevators were slow and had to take 2 to enter or exit property. Not enough places to hang towels.

Great location by time square. Staff were very friendly. The filtered water/ice dispenser by elevator was greatly appreciated.
