Establishment was really nice everything is super close and if you have a later flight, but you check out in the morning you can leave your luggage explore and go back to get it.

The staff was amazing. They were very helpful and made the stay so enjoyable

It was my first time staying here. I prepaid and check-in was not a hassle. The room was clean. It is centrally located. I was very pleased overall.

This is once of the worst hotels ive stayed at in a long time. The hotel staff are incredibly rude. When asking help from them was incredibly inconsiderate. Just rude. The escalator in the lobby was out of order my entire stay there (1 week). The water pressure in the shower is laughable. Its was impossible to remove shampoo from your scalp. I do not recommend this place under any circumstance.

Vet friendly and helpful staff. Conveniently located. Rooms were larger than typical NYC hotel rooms.

Great property very easy to get around the city being so close to Grand Central.
-
We enjoyed our stay there.

The location is absolutely fantastic right in the middle of the city. It’s so convenient. The hotel itself was so clean. The employees were so caring and welcoming. They check on us all the time to see if we need anything. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and welcoming the employees at front desk were very friendly. We had access to the 16th floor so that we can grab our breakfast and snacks and everybody over there was extremely super nice very caring very helpful and very kind. I would definitely stay at Hyatt in my next trip to New York.

-
Great location to get around the city since Grand Central is right there. Staff was great and housekeeping was amazing at keeping my room very neat.
-
Awesome room very clean and the location is great hope to comeback soon!!!

The room is quite old, and the pillows had a strong unpleasant odor. The phone in the room was also not working, so we had to go to the front desk multiple times to request new pillows. Unfortunately, housekeeping did not replace them with clean pillows—they simply brought another pillow that also had an unpleasant smell. Overall, the issue was not resolved, which made our stay less comfortable.

Everything went smoothly. Easy check in and out. Pleasant staff
-
The bed and sheets were comfortable and clean but the bathroom shower and sink was clogged the entire time and the bathroom didn’t seem to clean.
-
The hotel and amenities were great for the area, though we didn’t really spend a lot of time in the hotel. The concierge and check-in staff were helpful, and we had a restful night with no real sound interference from the street

For my first two days, I came and went through the front entrance without incident. Different guards on different shifts, none of whom stopped me. On the evening of my second day, at approximately 8pm, one guard decided to stop me and demand my room key. No context, no courtesy, just a demand. The inconsistency is the point. This was not a hotel-wide security policy applied uniformly to everyone entering the building. If it were, I would have been stopped on arrival. Instead, one guard, on one shift, chose to single me out with no operational justification, given that the lobby bar is open to the public and non-guests are welcome during sociable hours. None of the comparable properties I frequent treat their guests this way. When you are paying 4-star rates, the baseline expectation is that you are treated as a guest, not a suspect. This Hyatt failed that standard, and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Very nice property and convenient location.

Basic hotel, convenient, but nothing in the room, no coffee, no goodies, just towels.
