Club Quarters Hotel, Grand Central

Unfortunately the air conditioning didn’t work and this is the second time. Very odd Not sure I’d go back

Staff is friendly, Room was clean and well maintained. Asked for quiet room and got it. 28th floor lounge has free tea, espresso, coffee, filtered water and seltzer with at least 30 cushioned chairs. Very professional, clean and quiet. Don't know of any midtown hotel with that.

Great staff and experience

Incredibly friendly, polite, and helpful staff. Room offered everything promised; clean and modern. The free tea and coffee and office facilities on the 27th floor are a nice touch with a great view. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Wished room had a fridge. Liked the security of using a key to take elevator up to room floor. The rooms were very well designed making good use of limited space.

Room was clean and comfortable at a fair (for Manhattan) price.

Cons: very noisy rattling AC, no in room fridge or microwave, only two plug outlets, USB ports did not work, evidence

I somewhat regret leaving such a positive review for fear that this gem of a hotel is going to start to become so popular and prices are going to go through the roof. This hotel, however, has earned every one of those 5 stars. The property was clean, well appointed, had some terrific ammenities like the roof top deck, and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Every hotel chain, or boutique hotel, should copy what’s going on Club Quarters Grand Central.

This is my tenth or more hotel stay at the Club Quarters Grand Central hotel and not my last. It is clean, quiet and very accommodating. Eli at the front desk is one of the many hotel representatives that help you with anything you need. I love the free filtered water bottles on each floor and the free expresso coffee and teas on the roof top deck which is available 24/7. The rooms are spacious and has a 50 or 55 inch television. Also, every room has a table/desk and chair. I also love the mini closet with 2 drawers and hangers to hang your clothes. And the bathroom has counter space for whatever you need. Compared to other hotels I stayed at, none of them measure up to this one. I'm spoiled. And by the way, if you need a yellow cab to go anywhere, you can catch a cab right away in front of the hotel. It's so convenient.

Really great hotel! Spent a weekend here in the spring and it was a perfect hotel in a great location! Not too fancy but really great for the price point and the fact that its in the city. Loved!

The only feedback is that the elevator is loud. I couldn’t figure out what the noise was in my room and it went all night. I realized I was hearing the elevator cables clicking. Not a big deal because I brought my ear plugs and was able to sleep. Hotel was worth it I had a great stay but always bring your earplugs when traveling to Manhattan!
