The location was the best thing about this hotel with service being a close second. The hotel is old and fully booked. The breakfast line was around the corner. They ran out of eggs and the potatoes were over cooked. It is not close to any stores in case you forgot something. It is about a 15 minutes ride to and from the airport. I based my decision to stay here based on an 8.2 rating. This is not an 8.2 hotel in my book. It is more like a 5.2. Do not drive because the parking lot was full and some guests had to park on the street.

Staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs. We had a canceled flight and had to book the same day and it was a great stay overall, even had a discount for snacks and drinks. Only thing I would mention is to make sure everything is clean in the room since some of the linens had some stains and we had to get them changed, and one of the unused towels in the bathroom had what appeared to be facial hair

Although it offers free breakfast and has a restaurant on the property, it lacks general upkeep and maintenance. Free shuttle service is provided in which the drivers were very friendly.

Would've given 5 Stars across the board but one of the elevators was out of order.

Clean room, helpful front desk and shuttle to the airport was great

Nice room. Only issue- I wasn’t aware I had to reserve a parking spot on the property. It was pretty awful. When we called from the car in the street approaching the hotel, a desk clerk told us just pull in and there’s valet parking. We pull in- and then we’re told the lot was full! Not good! He then told us to ‘try Residence Inn’ and we’d have to pay for a spot, if they could accommodate my car. It took another hour or so, but after talking to the people at Residence Inn, I was able to book a spot on line. I was livid I didn’t know how bad the parking was there. This needs to be remedied in some way. People need to know to reserve a spot in advance and be guaranteed a spot- or not. It was really infuriating .

Clean, fast WiFi. Parking could be better.

when we checked in we weren't offered water and snacks like the people were that checked in at same time shuttle was late picking us up combined with a broken down airtrain we almost missed our flight.
-
Parking is a mess but the staff knew how to function around it efficiently for guests! Big props to them. The front desk was super nice! It was just so busy and loud in the lobby, there wasn’t an exhale from the day until we got to our room. it’s New York though. 😅 The ac didn’t work well in the elevator or hallways—just our rooms. It made the small journey hot with lugging our bags.. Pillows were uncomfortable. Breakfast lacked for the price we paid for the room. Wish there was more grab and go options. Overall, decent experience. The staff made a stress time easy!

Dirty carpets in the rooms with a bad smell, unhelpful staff, horrible breakfast.

Contact was good when speaking with staff as there was a problem requesting via app. Customer service scheduled our pickup from airport. Shuttle bus driver was great. The room was clean as a hotel room can be. We were on 12th floor which was the top floor and the ceiling in our room had water marks from leaky roof. It didn’t rain while we were there so no water in the room while we stayed. The little bistro they had the server ensured everyone’s served in a timely manner and was very attentive to all customers. Would I stay again yes due to proximity to JFK for our planned layover, and reasonable pricing for room. Would I stay on 12th floor no, definitely not if it’s raining. Also as a recommendation when you refresh the rooms get rid of the popcorn ceilings, and resurface the roof.
