Very convenient location

To have rich breakfast

Room wasn’t so clean had specks of paint everywhere. No mini fridge in room. Hat lights looked like they were coming out. Shower had minimal pressure and didn’t drain well. No bedside table on one side of the bed. No amenities like toothbrush toothpaste or utensils. Not sure about avg price for a hotel in NYC but didn’t feel worth $250. Staff was incredible though

Bathtub needed replacement or scrubbing. Bed linen was very crisp and clean. Thank you! But not enough to keep one warm at night.

Over all was a pleasant stay , excellent location
-
Kosher cafe at the lobby. Serafina conveniently downstairs. Excellent restaurants nearby.

Nice area and good staff

Loves the location and the adjoining Italian restaurant was delicious!!!

If you'd like a very cool, cozy hotel on the upper west side with a nice little quaint European style breakdfast area, I'd highly recommend this place! Nice staff and quiet hotel.

It was my second time staying at the Arthouse Hotel when we found ourselves “stuck in the City” on short notice for one night. The hotel offers comfortable and clean rooms with good amenities for a reasonable price. The hotel staff, including in particular Carlos at the front desk, are most helpful, answering questions and responding to concerns kindly and professionally.

The hotel rooms are on the small side however the design and aesthetic are so minimalist and peaceful, it is easy to spend time in the room feeling zen-like. The cafe is wonderful and often has live music. The staff is excellent.

Otherwise, the property is great. Location is great and had a wonderful stay.

The location is great, and the cleaning is spotless! However, I wouldn’t suggest the breakfast—it’s just a bagel or croissant with regular coffee. There are some fantastic breakfast spots nearby. Also, the bathtub was clogged, and I had to report it twice. The second time, I had to go to the reception to get the maintenance team to fix it.

It is very well located. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful.

Comfortable room, helpful staff, great location.

The property is a bit odd. There were rooms on our floor that made it feel like a halfway house. Unlocked and they looked like people were living like hoarders in the hotel. Breakfast was bad coffee and a croissant or bagel. If you need kosher breakfast, on saturdays it isn’t kosher, but no one tells you that until it’s too late. Our phone in our room didn’t work. That bathroom lights went on and off on there own all night. I had asked for the body wash in the shower to be refilled as it was empty when we checked in and it never was refilled. Definitely could have been better.
-
I was impressed with how clean, comfortable and quiet the hotel is and how conveniently located.

Checked in Monday afternoon and upon entering the bathroom of our room there was hair on the floor, on the shower walls and in the tub. I walked right back to the desk and told him and he offered to move us, to a lesser room, or to have the maid come back and resolve the issue. Obviously opted for the maid. She was very nice and vacuumed and mopped but didn’t do anything to the bath and said it was a maintenance issue and won’t drain. She said he’s on his way. We waited quite some time and gave up. We cleaned the tub ourselves and went to enjoy the day. Later that night we took showers and sure enough the tub didn’t drain at all. Then upon going to bed we realized the black out curtain on the large window didn’t even have a chain to raise or lower it so we slept with the lights shining in all night. The next morning I enemy to the desk again and told him about the issues that still remained. He sent someone to fix both, but the bath only drained the same night he fixed it and then backed up again the next night. Neighborhood is nice, but with the amount of options out there and the fact that simple things weren’t taken care of I wouldn’t stay here again.
