Excellent location, clean and spacious room, clean and big toilets, helpful and friendly staff. Everything. We just didn't eat breakfast there as we think that is too expensive. JPY3300 per person. The hotel is very conveniently located so we went out of breakfast and dinner without a problem. Wifi is free, and reception is good. Breakfast a bit expensive when compare to room charge No one replied to my message after I checked out. I need some service from them as I have left something in the hotel room when checked out.

Everything was just amazing. Comfortable beds, amazing staff, fantastic view from the balcony rooms. Highly recommend!

Terrific customer service. We were greeted as we entered with our car and they helped us park our car, too. The hotel was like a 5-star hotel. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Accommodations and location were excellent. There was even a piano concert in the lobby, free to anyone.

Excellent location with elevator directly onto the Dogo Onsen Street. Sizeable room which was very comfortable. Friendly staff Nothing. The suite we were in had a shower that was sitting due to the onsen tub in the room. Not a big deal for us.

The staff were amazing! There was also an underground garage for our car and extended parking for even after we checked out of the Hotel. The onsen was also nice, and the location was very convenient, a few minute walk from dogo onsen and the onsen town. Nothing

There are a few hotel staff who speak English, so communication was easy and pleasant. Hotel lobby is nice with details of tourist attractions around many parts of Japan. Conveniently located near the shopping street.

It was extraordinary place. One of the best Ryokans that we have stayed (more than 20) in Japan. We will visit with our family including kids. Temperature control wasn’t proper way, but staffs helped to fix it.

Stayed here for 3 nights with my mom and splurged for the balcony room which we found totally worth it. The hotel is situated above the Dogo area so the views were amazing. The room was the perfect size for two people and the onsen was great. They have an elevator to reach the ground floor right by Dogo onsen so it’s very easy to get to the Main Street.

Very neat and the onsen has a great view. The clerk who was checked me in was very impatient with me, which made me really uncomfortable. We also bought the half board, the restaurant staffs were very strange towards us too, they picked up the plates from other customers but not ours. It was a buffet and I have a messy little kids. They walked by with condescension eyes and didn’t think of taking away our empty plates.

Onsite onsen and family rooms possible for a fee. Balcony and bathrooms were awesome in the rooms. Also whoever did their windows I would love to hire for myself - they have a cool sliding screen door and all kinds of door/window glass things. So you can sleep with the window open. Our room was the best with overlooking dogo onsen building from the balcony. You could also see matsuyama castle. The beds are too squishy. The onsen family room was kind of expensive when you’re already staying there.

Great public baths, good location right near Dogo Onsen with a nice shortcut from the shopping street available after check-in. Rooms are very nice, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. I guess maybe a lack of documentation for air conditioning operations. It wasn’t difficult to operate but you can set the thermostat without turning the unit on and had I known that my room could have been cooler quicker. Honestly everything about the property was great and that one is on me for not asking hotel staff but it’s the only negative I can even think of.
