Holland Hotel Free Parking Jersey City

Clean and comfortable room with helpful, friendly staff. Free parking too which is a great plus in the area it is in. Doing some renovations which look like a nice refresh but they did not impact our stay.

I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was clean. The customer service of the staff was top notch. I would recommend this property to future customers.

Holland Hotel was an Excellent Experience . The Staff and Personnel , were very Professional and Courteous . The Facility was very clean and comfortable . Never had an issue with parking . I would recommend the Holland Hotel to anyone and everyone looking for a great hotel stay .

Parking at the entrance to Holland Tunnel is the most valuable asset of this hotel. Our room seems to have been recently renovated and the bed, bathroom fixtures etc were amazing! The room is decently sized and while it adjoins one of the busiest roads of Jersey City, it was remarkably quiet. The hotel is at a seven minute walk from Newport Mall with decent dining options. The two reasons that this review doesn’t get 5 stars is because there was a lot of noise due to remodeling of rooms around us and the “included breakfast” was modest just croissants, muffins, juice and coffee. Finally, the staff is amazing, especially the housekeeping!

Room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was clean; the tile shower was comfortable, water was hot and water pressure was good. Breakfast was okay, there were donuts, muffins and croissants, cheerios and orange juice, coffee and tea, no fresh fruit. Check in/out was fast, free parking and not too far from the PATH. Overall, great value

Room was simply but tastefully decorated, clean, and comfortable. Strong air conditioning and good shower. Very basic breakfast but much appreciated. Perfectly quiet, which you mightn't expect two blocks from the Holland Tunnel. Free parking an enormous perk in this heavily trafficked area. Pleasant staff. Would happily return.

Beware. Booked a room, showed up and they turned me away.

Overall, my stay was pleasant. The hotel is conveniently located near a station, making it easy to get to Manhattan, including the 33rd Street area. The staff were friendly, there were tasty pastries available in the mornings, and after check-out we were allowed to store our luggage until the evening, which was very helpful. The only reason I cannot give a higher rating is the issue with the security deposit. A $75 deposit was charged to my card at check-in. During my stay, I purchased a drink for $4, which I paid for in cash to a hotel employee. After that, I was informed that $71 would be refunded. The deposit was supposed to be returned starting from March 26 within a maximum of 7 business days, but the money still has not been received. When I contacted the hotel, I was directed to my bank. However, after reviewing the transaction, my bank confirmed that no refund had been processed. What disappointed me most was not only the missing refund, but also the lack of assistance in resolving the issue. Instead of providing proof of the refund, I was simply told to check with my bank. As a result, I had to open a dispute through my bank to recover my funds, but so far this has also been unsuccessful. The money has still not been returned. It is unfortunate that an otherwise good stay was overshadowed by this deposit issue. I would advise future guests to carefully monitor any security deposit refunds and keep all related documentation.

Simple easy parking, convenient to uber to NYC. Only cons is traffic noise depending on which room you’re in, but it’s not too much of an issue.

Free on-site parking is perfect. Bedroom was clean. Cold breakfast was simple and limited. Hotel is under renovation. Friendly staff.

My family stayed here (2 adults and 2 kids) in the 2 double bed room. Beautifully renovated room and bathroom. While this hotel is only 2 stars it is the perfect stay if you’re driving to NYC. The neighborhood is safe, the subway is walkable, and the parking is free. You can cut through the mall to get to/from the subway but the mall closes at 9 pm. You can easily walk around the mall for the same distance. Everything was super clean, no bugs as mentioned in previous reviews. Yes, it’s under construction but I also didn’t hear any construction noise. Surprisingly I didn’t hear much noise from passing cars. Highly recommend!

Staff was amazing and very helpful! The room was clean!

It was super close to a train station so moving around was extremely easy. The room was clean. It had an spacious parking space and there were food options at a walk distance. The room was extremely small, there was no central air conditioning system, and the window ac unit didn't cold down the room that good, also the unit was extremely loud. The "included breakfast was also kind of disappointing. Honestly the price was to high for what was offered. Maybe at a lower price does things would have not matter but at that price point, more is expected.

Staff was great and the place was clean and rooms were nice. It was also great to have parking. Nothing. Everything was good.
