Crowne Plaza Houston Med Ctr-Galleria Area by IHG

The room had an awful smell. I paid $50 for early check in, mind you their check in times was 4PM.

The AC stopped working around 6am. I woke up all sweaty. Call from desk, started working 30 minutes later and before check out time same thing. They might be doing that for people to wake up and leave early. Not cool

Only one elevator working and the lobby was strange…hard to know what the amenities were offered bc no direction was given.

Bathroom light on the mirror didn’t , only one side. The elevator didn’t work so we had to pack everything to the third floor, i told the front desk Friday and nothing happened. The breakfast wasn’t nothing but cereal bars and a banana. Back in 2018 and 2020 this place was my favorite . It is is directly a two min walk to the mall though. No tissue in the room just an empty box.

Travelers.....if you have an issue with your reservation and try to change your stay dates forget it. ABSOLUTELY NO CONSIDERATION FOR TRAVELERS OR TRAVEL CONDITIONS. I needed to change my stay dates (CHANGE, NOT CANCEL) and got nothing more than a cold shoulder NO!!!! I would have been better served by shooting myself in the foot and spending my time in Houston in the hospital.

Tbe comfort and location. The hotel was very Cetral to all actiivities.

The bed The inconvenience of switching to another room because the first room was all messed up. The TV was falling off the wall. The toilet was running the mirror in the living room lamp was hanging off, and the door was dragging on the floor.

Room was good staff was friendly and helpful.

I paid for parking in my reservation through Booking.com and was charged a 2nd time by the property. I didn’t realize this until I had already left the property after checkout. So I basically paid $50 for my car to sit in a parking garage for 13 hours. No, I will not be staying here again nor recommending it.

The room was clean. The only bad thing was I wasn’t informed of the cost of parking when I made my reservation.
