Stayed for a sports event at Hoover. Location was close to several restaurants. Hotel breakfast was kinda pricey with limited options. Room was clean and enough space to move around. I would probably book again.

My stay was excellent as always.

The staff was great and went above and beyond to accommadate Uncomfotable bed and the marajuana smell by the pool. The lights go out in the bar/food area reguardless of Patrons when its time to close

We have been going to Hoover every year since 2013 for the SEC tournament, minus 2020. This was the BEST, most comfortable, clean and convenient motel we have stayed at so far. The front desk ladies were SUPER NICE and accommodating! And the housekeeping staff that we encountered too was really nice and helpful. We plan to book this motel again in 2027! OH! And the courtyard/pool area was VERY nice! Only wish they had a free coffee station in the morning. But that is not a complaint, just a wish! ;)

At check in we were asked if 1st floor was okay. We declined due to the parking lot abutting the patio with direct access to sliding door to room. Opted for 2nd floor which may of been a mistake because of the location of the room which was a long journey for 2 seniors!! Upon arrival we noticed that there was no microwave. We are on restricted diets and bring our food from home to reheat. Called the front desk and said we didn't have a microwave in the room. He replied that you only get a microwave if you book a Suite. I "tried to explain that on the web site they were "Family Friendly" and mentioned microwaves as an amenity...? I let it pass because I did pack some items that that didnt need reheating. Went to our balcony and there were no chairs! Unfortunately called front desk to ask for 2 chairs. He said they are eliminating chairs on patios/balconies because they are commiting to a true non smoking hotel. Too many people are smoking on balconies/patios. He said..."They smoke everything from cigarettes to marijuana, and anything else in a pipe!! And added it stinks! Instantly I was glad I wasn't on 1st floor due to access. My husband and I drove the parking lot and there were MANY patios/balconies with chairs! I am still trying to figure out why he would think that a chair would make a difference. If your gonna smoke your gonna do it sitting or standin??

The water pressure was not go at all in the shower

The location was perfect, it was very clean, staff is very knowledgeable and helpful and it’s very quiet. My favorite is that the rooms have patios/balconies The only thing I didn’t like was the room I was in this time had a shower curtain and that’s just a personal preference of mine I hate them in public bathrooms and never seen one taken down to wash in between customers is why

Room was nasty open lotion ,soap open and used (bar) half roll toilet paper , towel rack fell when i try to hold on . Towel was off white . Room had Oder . Shower would not drain properly. Breakfast I paid for they act as if it wasn’t paid with room . Manger of bistro was rude mold on fruit cups . I had to wait for 12 min before he gave me a substitute. Back door near room to get into hotel was broken and roaches in Hall way . My experience was a -2 and then I had a $26 charge-nobody knows where it came from . I’m so upset. Was there for 2 days .

The hotel was clean, the only problem I had was the fact that the room was $200 a night and there was no complimentary breakfast of coffee for that matter for the guest. At check in i was told that breakfast came with my stay and that was not the case.

i enjoyed how good the staff was the water pressure
