Hotel Marguerite Anaheim/Garden Grove, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We found a roach in our room while getting ready for an important event. When we spoke with the front desk, they offered to come in and spray our room (while we were staying there). At first they didn't want to move us (there was vacancy) and we had to insist we change rooms. It then took over an hour for them to give us a new room. No compensation offered for our troubles even after we told them we ended up being late for a wedding which was the whole reason we were in town.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating, overall stay was good but the walls are paper thin and it was hard to sleep because you can hear what everyone is doing throughout all hours of the day and night. As well as in the evening from my trip covered in bites all over my back.

MY FAMILY LOVED THIS PLACE.

The outside of this hotel is gorgeous but the rooms are in need of some remodeling and TLC. Ours had moldy mildew spots in the corner of the shower, no storage for clothes and in general just was run down. Pool was warm liked thay there was a hot tub, but very overwhelming chemical smell. Towels were never stocked. Overall ok for a night or two but disappointing after seeing the gorgeous exterior.

I Like that they only charge 5 dollars for self parking.They need to change menu for food,it's the same food all the time.

I mean it was a fine experience. I requested a crib prior to our arrival and it wasn’t there, no biggie, had to call after we checked in and about an hour later after, we got it. The part that blew my mind was the daily housekeeping. I mean i understand you don’t have to make the bed every day or tidy up (maybe i’m used to hilton or other better wyndhams), but when they did replace the towels they put them back in the towel slot the craziest way as if a child folded them. Again, no biggie, just so strange. Also the breakfast was fine, i honestly didn’t even go most of our stay because the options were pretty limited. I’m just overall confused about the high rating on this place i think it’s a 2.5/5 stars, it does the trick i guess.

The premises and the room were generally clean. However there was a sticky patch on the cabinet and a tiny dirty patch on the sheets so wasn’t sure if the room was cleaned well. The coffee machine was dusty. But it was only a night stay so we just ignored the tiny bit of overlook. Breakfast was good as well.

Staff was ok, but the room I had booked smelled like chemicals. Someone sprayed a whole can of disinfectant to cover up some other stench. We tried to opening the windows but it did not help at all. When I asked to switch to another room because I’m pregnant and cannot be smelling those fumes they were able to accommodate me but said only for one night and I’d have to check out the next morning even though I had booked for two nights. They also refuse to refund me for the other night I didn’t get to stay because they didn’t have a room available. Definitely do not recommend this establishment

Staff was great, breakfast was great and such a convenient hotel for us while staying to go to Disney land. Highly recommend
