La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Dallas/Fairpark

Our truck was stolen from the hotel parking lot. When we told the staff, the ONLY thing they said was, “We can’t access the security camera footage.” Not “I’m so sorry that happened to you.”, or “How can we help?” Zero empathy. I assume it’s common occurrence from her response. We had to leave a day early to deal with the situation and when I told the staff we were leaving early, she argued with me that it wasn’t an early checkout since we were leaving after 12pm that day. No matter how many times I tried to explain that I wasn’t expecting a refund, I was simply letting them know we were leaving a day early to deal with the stolen truck. She continued to argue with me that I wasn’t checking out early. I finally just left and did the checkout online since she wouldn’t let me checkout.

My room had a broken TV screen. When I arrived to my room the AC was completely turned off. This was on June 28th in Dallas, TX. I understand turning thermostat up, but you can't turn the AC completely off in a Texas summer!!1

Room was clean and breakfast was nice .

The laundry room was terrible! The waiting area dirty and wet in the evening. Children running in and out of the lobby and outside the doors with no adult supervision. Children running up and down the hallway by our room. Getting prank calls in the middle of the night had to unplug the phone. Marijuana smell throughout the hallways of the rooms as we were getting to our rooms. Snack variety not enough to choose from. I was very disappointed in my stay. We always stay at LA Quinta and this was the worse experience ever!

We saw that reviews were good so we booked. Musty smell as soon as we entered the room. Lighting in room was bad, bathroom was passable. Bed was comfortable. Laundry room was disgusting! Marijuana smell through hall ,kids running around at night with no adult supervision , they ran from out the doors to back inside. 1 night kids running throughout hall downstairs after swimming, and leaving water all over floors, and seats. Was truly disappointed in our stay We will never come back!!!!

Said they don’t charge a deposit but they charge me as much as my total stay on top of what I already paid through Expedia. Said I should receive a refund as soon as I check out but have yet to see it.

Property was clean, rooms were ok. The real problem is there are a lot of people who are living out of these hotels and literally treated like it’s their home which technically it is so you’re gonna see people walking around the lobby wearing socks. The worst part of staying here is all the noise like literally all day and night. The furniture in the room is old and soiled. So each room has a moldy kind of smell, but they appear to be clean.

Based on our guest’s feedback: Location, the easy access and walking distance to shops/restaurants/fast food. The room itself was good, nice decor, and comfortable bed. The room phone & tv remote did not work, & there was one broken piece on bench. Not a big deal, however since this is one of the newer properties, we expected it to be much more up to par.

It was fine. I would probably choose to spend more and stay elsewhere moving forward.

Had a two night stay booked. I left after one night. There was no blackout curtain, so it was like Times Square all night. I was not confident they would fix the issue when reported the next day. The neighbors were noisy all night and I could hear them through the walls/door. I was next to elevator and because door wasn’t sealed at all I could hear all the rude people being noisy in the hall ways.
