Kinzie Hotel

No storage for toiletries in the bathroom. Pillows very uncomfortable. Otherwise the room was nice. Hotel very clean. Good, friendly staff.

My only reason for a poor review is the clarity on their "resort fees." At the bottom of the description under "Important Information" you will see an additional "Resort Fee." This is not a resort.... it is an average hotel. Charging $38.88 per night as an additional "Resort Fee" for WiFi, Coffee, Fitness Center Access, Housekeeping etc. Overall still not a bad price... but this should be included in the advertised price on Expedia when sorting through hotels to choose from. This was not mentioned at check-in either so I was a little surprised to see I got a bill for these things that are normally free after I left the hotel.

Room is clean and well appointed. Staff are friendly and helpful. Complimentary happy hour and breakfast are bonus. Above all, the location of this boutique hotel is central and convenient for food and walking to the river front.

Really nice hotel in central location of Chicago walking distance to a ton of attractions. The staff were very nice and the fitness room and breakfast were nicer than many places. One thing I wish I had known is how noisy this area is lots of bars and traffic and sirens all night you can hear everything. They also might want to add card readers to the stairs and waiting on the elevator w gamble of time. Overall though we enjoyed out stay quite a bit.

My favorite hotel of all time! Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and sleek.

I had a little trouble sleeping with the bed not being all that comfortable and the city noise wasn’t something I’m used to. Overall though a nice hotel.

A special shout-out to the bartender at the happy hour, who provided excellent service and created a warm, enjoyable atmosphere. Their friendliness and professionalism made the experience even more memorable. Overall, a great stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
