The staff at U Nimman Chiang Mai were helpful, professional, and responsive throughout our stay. Service was consistent and courteous, which we appreciated. The hotel itself has a modern feel, and the option for delivered breakfast was a nice touch, the plated meals were actually better in quality than the buffet. The location was just okay. While it’s in a lively area, it’s right next to restaurants that play loud music until around midnight. The hotel even provides ear plugs in the room, which was a bit of a red flag and reflects the noise issue. The room had several drawbacks. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the layout of the corner room felt awkward and poorly designed. The shower setup was also unusual, with two shower heads in one space, which seemed unnecessary and a bit odd. Additionally, the toilet was slow to flush. Cleanliness could be improved, we found hair on the sofa and on the ceiling-mounted shower head. The breakfast buffet was average at best and didn’t stand out. While the plated breakfast was better, the wait time was quite long (around an hour), which made it inconvenient.

Very. Centrally located in Nimman area of Chiang Mai close to all restaurants and shops. Great breakfast with outside as well as inside seating. Large rooms. The rooftop pool area is small with not many chairs so it gets crowded at popular times. The lower floors can hear noise from the restaurants opposite but generally it is well insulated.

Great place. Lots of things to do, conveniently located from the airport and the old city. The staff go above and beyond for their guests. I would highly recommend staying here. Top notch! Nothing

Location. Nam provided friendly service upon departure. A bit old. Reception staff forgot to return our passports after check in procedures. When I came back to get it, it was still in the photocopy machine.

Location only Not a value for money stay . Totally cramped room , with an additional bed (asked to pay while check which wasn't mentioned while booking ). No chairs / tables , nothing to sit on to reading or eating .

Aside from the beautiful hotel and the cleanliness of the rooms, there is nothing good I can say about the level of service or management of this hotel. As one of the more expensive hotels on my vacation, it has easily been the wrost hotel I have stayed in Thailand. More details on the challenges below. Where to start...BEWARE of the "Bait and Switch" with rooms. I made my reservation 2 1/2 months ago and several days before and upon check-in, the hotel tried to change my room to a "premium" room instead of the deluxe King I requested with the Balcony. The staff claimed the room was bigger, but according to multiple website, the rooms are the same size, you just lose the balconey which was the largest selling point for me. The word "premium" and "delxue" are just a play on words. The hotel tried to move me to a less desirable room claiming it was an upgrade. It wasn't and i chose to stay in my original reservation. They then claimed the only had the two bed option instead of the King bed. This hotel practices some very SHADY practices with guests before arrival and check-in. BEWARE of the BAIT & SWITCH!!! Don't let the smooth talking fool you into paying more for a less valued room. I had to raise with the manager about my complaint and he was inept and didn't have any idea what was going on. I finally got my originally reserved room and enjoyed my stay. Upon check-out I asked for assitance with my bags, the operator told me they would send somebody up to my room immediatley. Ten minutes later, no one had shown up and I called downstairs again. They hadn't sent anybody up and then hung the phone up on me. I'm not sure it was on purpose or an accident. I finally just took my bags myself. I get downstairs and the entire front desk team is not busy and the bell person apparently was heading to my room after my second call. For the amount of money spent on this hotel stay, I would FIND ANOTHER HOTEL to avoid dealing with these unethical practices. For the amount of money you spend, you expect a higher level of service. BUYER BEWARE!! They claim to be a 5-star hotel and I've gotten better service at a Holiday Inn Express for 1/3 of the hotel price.

The hotel is located right at the One Nimman complex where you can find restaurants, food court, local arts and crafts, souvenir stalls. Breakfast buffet was good—lots of quality selections. N/A

We got room on 2nd floor align building roof view. I asked higher floor the reception refused us she referred no double room bed while my friends checkin after us got higher floor with good view and actually they pay less than us.
