Love how comfy the beds and the location was amazing! Some staff can’t speak English but some does so it’s alright.

The fellow that dealt with the night time shift was wonderful. Everybody else was absolutely terrible… Took forever to rebook the same bed. Paper-based and nobody knows what to do.

Hard to find an empty toilet in the morning, have to queue. The bathrooms (which include showers) are pretty dirty. There is no curtain in the bathroom to stop the water from splashing. There is no hangar on the bathroom door. The mattress is very rough and uncomfortable. Many beds have a small piece of the ceiling in the middle or near where you head goes, very easy to bang your head in them.

Perfect location, super nice friendly staff, perfect to stay. There are so many cafes, bars but super quiet at night.

I love this hostel. Whenever I need to stay in Chiang Mai for a short period, I just book Ray Hostel. It's clean and equipped with all the amenities required for a comfortable stay in Chiang Mai. It's located in Nimman area which is perfect for young travelers. The staff is helpful and polite.

There was an under renovation building next to the hostel during my stay, I can't stay in the room during daytime, that's it.

The staff was very friendly and professional. I stayed in a 4-bed female room and was very comfortable. Easily one of the the best hostels I’ve stayed in. There’s no common area or kitchen for hostel guests, but I knew this prior to booking.

I loved pretty much everything about this hostel! Nice rooms, comfortable beds, professional staff, cleanliness, and location. It would be nice if there was a common space for guests.

It's a couple blocks from the mall, very close to 24hr self-service laundromat, Yellow Co-working space, and some highly recommended restaurants. There is no common area for hanging out, especially during the day (front porch is used for drying bed linens during daytime hours, at night, they put out a few bar stools). Also, the ratio of toilet/shower facilities to number of people had me worried...there are just 2 single-occupancy bathrooms on each floor, to service multiple dorm rooms of 8+ people each. There is no breakfast unless you buy it from the Cafe they run next door. Lobby smells like mothballs from the packets they put in the lockers

very clean and comfortable beds some of the lockers in the rooms had poor quality locks and my valuables got locked in a locker for a few hours until someone came to fix it. also there is no real social space in the hostel.
