Sheraton Charlotte Hotel

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and conveniently located to everything.

Air was not working properly, did not have a fridge in my initial room. Had to change rooms 3 times due to AC issues. Extremely frustrating and no compensation offered. Front desk offered extra Marriott points but I never saw them. They offered free breakfast but we did not even want to take advantage after our experience. Very disappointed.

Very nice hotel, great location, half elevators were not working so made for long waits to get to floors.

Room and staff were great. Building and parking are a bit confusing so be prepared. You need your room key to get in and out of the gated lot. Not an issue until you turn in your key and need to leave. Then it gets tricky. Nice food in the hotel!

Great location, clean rooms. Only two of the four elevators were working so there were LONG wait times and the stairs didn’t lead to an exit, only to the basement.

Rooms are pretty much upgraded however some common areas are showing the age. Slowest elevator system in America.

Beautiful property. The indoor pool was a bit dated but clean and functional. Lovely rooms. The restaurant was a bit expensive but the food was good.

The food was great. Loved the bar area and the staff went above and beyond to help me with an issue with Ticketmaster Travel. Thank you so much.

My rating is solely based on the elevator issues at the hotel. Waiting in lines of 20-30 people to go up to your room is not a good look

Excellent stay... except, we were there for a very popular concert in the area and it was packed, with only two of the four elevators working. Other than that, no complaints at all.

Everything was excellent except for when we needed more towels in the morning. The first set of towels the hotel staff brought us had mold on them, which was very concerning

I chose this hotel expecting a high-end stay to match the expensive rates, but the reality fell short. The property is undergoing a remodel, and the lobby just plain stunk from the ongoing construction materials being used. Because of this remodeling, the entry from the parking garage was completely blocked, yet I still had to pay a self-valet fee of $30 just to park my own car-for less than a 24 hour stay. Inside the room, the drainage in the bathtub was so poor that water pooled up to my ankles during a shower. Even from the 8th floor, all I heard all night long was the traffic noise. Including several different times of sirens, motorcycles, etc. The expense simply does not match the substandard experience provided.

We really enjoyed our one night stay here. The staff was very helpful when we checked in. From where to eat and how to get around. Perfect location for our concert at Spectrum Center. Great pool facilities. Looking forward to coming back whenever we're back in town.
