HYATT house Charlotte/Center City

No A/C on main floor where bar and breakfast are served. Room not available until 5 hours after check in time . We were in Charlotte only overnight for a show and had to get ready in a general ladies bathroom. No compensation offered because I booked through Expedia . Will never stay here again.

Other than that our stay was enjoyable.

The room was great. The staff helped us out. The only thing I did not like was you had to use valet parking. I had to wait for 10-15 minutes for my car when checking out. It felt unnecessary to only park using valet parking.

We’ve stated before but between the la l of AC in the lobby which we were not aware of until check in and the wear and tear of the facility, the cost didn’t match the value of the hotel.

Mr Darius and the front staff was AWESOME! I’ve worked in hospitality before and this was exceptional. I hope that’s his name but he helped us with directions to our event and greeted us every time we enter or exit. He loves his job and he takes pride in what he does. He can go great place and take the brand to those places with him. Keep giving him the right tools along with his personality & honesty and his displayed desire to be all and more than he can be, he’s a rising star!!

Perfect location, right across the street from the Midnight diner and right next door to the Spectrum! Walking distance to uptown and all the eateries. If you are looking for a place to go shopping for clothing this is not it.

The bed was soooo comfy. Like I want to bring it home with me. Only minor details that were slightly annoying but not enough to change my stars... -The pool was small and the filter broke so it was a bit murky. They were cleaning and checking on it. So no biggie but we didn't use it. - The snack pantry was over priced. A bottle of water that was bought at Walmart was $4. But we were sort of at the mercy of the pantry at times because there were not many other options. However, it was a great stay. If you are going to something at the Bank of America plan on walking! 😀

Very nice hotel and the whole staff were very nice and helpful.

Great place to stay, it’s near lots of great restaurants and walking distance to the Bank of America Stadium.

I got the suite with a pullout bed, a kitchen area with a dishwasher, and a great view of the city. The room was clean, and the staff was amazing, from the valet to the front desk staff to the bartender. I went on a busy weekday due to a concert, and there were no issues. Would definitely stay again!
