They do not tell you that parking is not free. They asked for a credit card for incidentals. I got one water and was charged $80 for parking. Very deceptive. I even asked when booking if parking was included. We were stuck in the elevator for 15 minutes. Hot. No air. A 5yrs old kid got stuck the same day alone. No one told us you needed the key card to operate it. I had a panic attack. The buttons would not work to open the doors. We couldn't call on the emergency phone. We were literally stuck in the elevator until someone came to open it. Again, we were not informed that you needed the key card to operate the elevator. We should have been able to push the open elevator door button and get out. They don't have the ac running in the halls. It was unbearably hot walking to the middle of the long hallway where our room was located. I told them I am disabled (mobility) and we were very far from the elevator. The TV was broken and I sat there waiting for over an hour for them to fix it and clean the bathroom at 3pm. We were late to dinner waiting for them to come to the room. It would be fine if they were honest about the parking and informed guests about the elevators. Also, be more accessible to disabled people. Will not go again. I tried speaking with the manager and was dismissed and never called back. They need to train their employees better.

I like how spacious, clean, modern and how it had all the amenities I needed while being away from home. I like how breakfast was provided and it had variety.

Enjoyed the stay, comfy bed and reasonably priced. Will stay again next time I'm in Austin.

Breakfast was great! I never saw anything about the $35 parking a night, and it’s a small walk back to the hotel from the parking garage.

The staff was kind, helpful and made the experience an excellent and comfortable one. Thank you for being one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.

I am extremely disappointed with both this property and its refusal to work with us on a reasonable resolution. I booked this hotel through Expedia for my mother and aunt, who were traveling to Austin to attend a family funeral. The photos online made the property appear attractive and welcoming, but the reality of the surrounding area was very different. Shortly after arriving, they witnessed homeless individuals loitering around the area, including one person urinating in public. They also observed other concerning behavior that made two older women traveling alone feel unsafe. Because of these circumstances, they did not feel comfortable staying at the property and immediately secured accommodations elsewhere. The most frustrating part is that they never even checked into the hotel, never used the room, and never stayed on the property. Despite this, the hotel refused to provide any refund or accommodation. Expedia attempted to contact the property on our behalf, but the hotel still declined to help. I understand non-refundable policies exist, but there should be some level of customer service and compassion, especially when guests are in town for a funeral and have legitimate safety concerns. Instead, we were forced to pay for two hotels. The pictures may look nice online, but prospective guests should carefully research the surrounding area before booking. Our experience was disappointing, costly, and stressful during an already difficult time.
