Aloft by Marriott Austin Southwest

Very nice, modern hotel. The pool area is great! Spacious room as well. We will definitely come back.

The beds were super comfortable! The staff is great! The check in man & check out lady were super friendly and helpful!! I have stayed in Aloft many times, and they are always nice!!

It was an average facility.

This is a fantastic hotel. Loved the pool and the lobby. It's near my kids apartment, and I'll stay here whenever there's not room for me there.

Beautiful pool. Interesting environment. Poor vanity lighting. Terrible pillows. Slippery shower floor.

Had a great time in a relaxing spot close to all the things we needed in a safe neighborhood. I found the hotel, clean with no bugs and adequate amenities. The pool was nice, and ample parking. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pillow topped bed was too soft for my taste.

The ac was the only problem, it didn't stay regulated

Everything was clean and new, properly maintained and the staff was real attentive and caring (shout out to Kit!) I come to Austin once a year for a track meet, and will definitely be back last year

Everything went as expected. Great service. Check-in and check-out were easy. Parking was easy, room was clean, property was also clean and amenities were easily accessible. Staff was helpful.

For the price of two days over $500 there could’ve been a free breakfast. As for the hot water in sink and shower takes at least five minutes. Tile around the swimming pool very slippery. The grass around the swimming pool has a lot of big weeds. Front counter Katie was excellent. Would I stay there again most likely not.

like the location and facilities except for the pillows I did not like that you did not have free breakfast, they had prices for everything, even coffee and fruit and chips

Something that was not obvious to me was that the “main” light switch needs to be on for all of the lights to work. I saw the small sign in the morning, when I no longer needed the bed side light.

Room 528. Bed is horrible. It appears to be an old/well used mattress with a "hole/indentation" on one side with a mattress topper thrown on top of it. Most uncomfortable bed ever, very disappointing for a $200 a night hotel room. Stayed here due to location - which was great. Have stayed in ALOFT properties before and they are great. This particular room/experience will have me re-thinking staying at this brand.
