Great place. to stay if you're used to occasionally having community bathroom. Some of the units have individual bathrooms, but you have to make sure you book it that way. Great place to stay in Anchorage, Alaska, Especially since you're only really there to sleep because of all the activities. Centrally located easy access to everything in town. Friendly staff self-use community kitchen.

I want to support local businesses and was very excited to do so. But if they can’t assure we don’t walk away with a bigger problem then I’m sorry to say I’m going to be honest in my review.

Our room was comfy and the bathroom tile was very cool

Making my way to my room and I commented that I was a little drunk and that lugging my luggage up three flights of stairs was a challenge. You would have thought I killed Bambi. The female manager started yelling at that this was an alcohol free area and that drinking any alcohol was forbidden. I didn’t say anything at the time because I needed the bed. But I did go check everything from my reservation through Expedia’s to the typed sheet of rules in the room. Nowhere in any of that does it say anything about alcohol. The hotel is incredibly loud. Between Merrill Field and the downtown road traffic, wear earplugs/Airpods to sleep. If you have any other option, including a tent, please explore it. I wish I had.

This was a great room to stay in. Across the street is some great little restaurants I recommend Wngs & Things. Very good wings. Eric was super nice. I’ll definitely stay here again. I checked out early in the morning and asked if I could get my receipt email to me and it was. Don’t have a vehicle but there is ample parking in the rear.

Great for the price… simple clean room…. No breakfast, shared bathroom, right on a busy road across from a strip mall

I punted on this property and found another after being shown the room. This property is not in the best part of town, and there were homeless people on the street around it. I feel like the description of the property was less than honest. In my opinion, it is a glorified hostel. If that is your jam, it may be OK for you. Just keep in mid that on the upper floor, there are 30 rooms and 3 shared bathrooms.

It's an older hotel, but well maintained. Obviously well cared for.

Very affordable and comfortable. Could hear through the walls pretty easy though. Cars passing outside and people in other rooms/in hallways. But overall very ideal stay for the price.

The tall blonde lady when I was checking out to renew my room was mean and so unkind for no reason at all!! Barely let me renew my room even though there was nobody staying at the hotel at all Terrible lady

Staff was very helpful, friendly and understanding when I was unaware Discover card was not accepted and worked with me to keep my reservation. Room was quaint, no central AC but the fan provided was powerful enough to keep me cool during time in room. Good overall, will be considered in future.

Clean comfortable place with friendly staff and excellent security. A kitchen, free coffee and lemonade and a nice TV in the room with lots of channels. It's not the Hilton so don't expect a champagne breakfast but it's a nice place with a quirky style. As a veteran of econo inn before it closed I can tell you this place is excellent! The security is no nonsense so you can feel very safe. It also has a nice quirky theme with wooden decorations and antlers about which was appreciated. Some reviewers are such whingers looking for things to moan about. This is now my go to place as a budget inn in Anchorage. Sweet caribou / Bema cafe is also opposite. One member of staff was a little abrupt with me when I had some lemonade, checking I was a guest and asking my room number. But then I thought to myself that she's ensuring good security so I forgave her.
