it was ok staff very friendly and helpful

There is no elevator at this property. Parts of the hallway were covered with a tarp. The towels had stains on them. The water from the shower felt like oil was mixed in. The hairdryer attached to the wall did not work. If you like a hard bed, this place is for you. The $250.18 the room cost was $200 too much.

Great breakfast! The scrambled eggs actually tasted like they should--unlike so many other hotels. The sausage patties were great. The apple juice actually tasted good, unlike most hotel. I also like staying at hotels that have waffle machines and I appreciate that they offered unsweetened syrup. At my request, they also booked us downstairs as my wife has knee issues and our older Labrador retriever doesn't like stairs.

The room was clean but could have been a little cleaner. Floors had left over trash. Beds were made nicely and fairly comfortable. Room was kind of small for my kids and I. Overall I enjoyed the stay. It was conveniently located regarding the activities we were there for. Breakfast was good and staff was extremely helpful.

Decent room at decent price.

Ok, clean, little old and outdated

Staff was helpful, room was clean, and breakfast was good.

Everything was good. The cleaning staff deserves a big raise!

This property was an absolute disappointment. It was old and run down even though it had high reviews, I did not see that. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I thought that for $200 I would receive a clean and updated place to stay. I actually felt gross having to sleep there. For the condition of the place I would expect to pay $75 not $200. I will never stay at a hotel with this name again and am completely disappointed in the Wyndham name. This hotel could definitely use some updates and deep cleaning

Made a reservation 2 months in advance. Room was not available when we got there. The front desk man said, "yall are screwed." Those were his exact words. Nice! Could not find another room in all of Amarillo. Very unprofessional staff. Then he tried to rent us 2 rooms for twice as much although our previously booked room was "unavailable." Unbelievable!

Breakfast not average

It was good.

Price was nice for 1 night stay, location was fine, breakfast was basic (eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, bagel, muffins, cereal, and yogurt), fitness center is small but got the workout done. Shower water pressure is amazing. Took an awesome shower. Staff very friendly. Dirty and just doesnt seem upkept. Their was a broken dryer siting right in the middle of thebkobby for check in, old torn up couch in breakfast area, lots of drywall exposed, trim missing, bathroom floors were dirty in room, rooms are small and very crammed, balls of dust or lent all over the floors in the hallway. Our sheets to the beds had many old stains on them. The place just needs alot of TLC. Looks different than the photos online.

The air conditioning was spotty, and the room was over-scented with air freshener.

Just very old building. Homeless come in to eat breakfast in the morning. No elevator so stay on first floor if you are handicapped. Cheap motel vibes.

This is an older hotel. Some signs of wear and tear. Upon our arrival, we were told there was no elevator. Don't know if that meant the elevator was not working, or there just was not an elevator. Our room was on the second floor, next to the stairwell. Took my husband 3 trips to get all of our luggage upstairs. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, A/C was quiet. No towel racks in the bathroom. Had to hang towels over the shower curtain rod or on the clothes hook. The ice and vending machines on the second floor had been removed. Laundry was not working. Breakfast was okay - scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, fruit, coffee, juice, etc. Staff was friendly. Free parking.

They upgraded our room

Exceptional

I wasn't expecting such a pleasant room but surprisingly, it was exceptional. Everything was clean and well maintained, with all the amenities you could want. I stayed in a Hilton the night before and it was very similar.
