Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel

Very convenient for early flights from ABQ airport or late arrivals. 24 hour free shuttle service plus a convenient sidewalk that takes you to the airport. Beautiful property. Negatives: Web site tries to trick you into paying for wi-fi and joining loyalty program. If you join, they will spam you very frequently. Walls a bit thin.

Due to significant flight delays, I unexpectedly needed accommodations after my car rental reservation was canceled and could not be rescheduled until the following morning. When I initially called the hotel to inquire about room availability, I was told I could likely find a cheaper rate online. However, I was not given clear guidance on how to make the reservation, and the staff member did not seem particularly interested in assisting me. There was also considerable noise in the background, making the conversation difficult. Upon arrival, I was informed that the reservation I made through Hotels.com was not showing in your system. The front desk associate did ultimately accommodate my stay, which I appreciate, but the interaction was not particularly welcoming and did little to reassure me after an already stressful day of travel. Unfortunately, the condition of my room was even more disappointing. The room did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned. There were items left on the floor from a previous guest, trash remaining in the bathroom trash can, water or possible toothpaste stains on the sink, what appeared to be urine residue around the toilet, hair in the bed, and small flies around both bedside lamps. Additionally, the carpet was filthy to the point that I did not feel comfortable walking on it barefoot.

The staff was wonderful.

Great stay

Only having ice machines on every other floor, plus having a few not working was a challenge. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay. Oh, and the pillows are terrible

Shuttle service was great from the airport to the Sheraton and then early morning shuttle to the car rental. I appreciated the to and from services.

Noisy air conditioning in room. Broken shower head. Poor breakfast offerings. Unhelpful staff.

The AC was noisy even after it was turned off.

Clean nice room No microwave, very slippery tub/shower I almost fell , the wife mild handicap couldnt shower as a result, fee parking onsite, did have free shuttle to local restaurants restaurant on site fee for breakfast

Location is great and the hotel is clean. One staff person at the registration desk (female working evening shift) was very helpful. We had to change rooms because toilet in first room made a loud squealing noise. Engineer told front desk it was fixed while we were out to dinner. It was NOT fixed, maybe not quite as loud. Front desk staff changed us to another room one floor higher. It was an handicap accessible room so some features such as no significant countertop around bathroom sink were inconvenient. However, it was clean and quiet. The hotel needs attention to detail such as painting elevator doors. Rugs near entrance do not facilitate movement of suitcases. The hotel has signs up about new management. If the new owners pay attention to details, the hotel could be one of the nicest in ABQ again. For now, it's okay. There's lots of competition in that area now.
