Read reviews on safety of area before booking here, seemed legit. It was a nice property in an okay seeming area, that was until our car was stolen from the parking lot in the early morning after our first night. Thankfully our car had a built in GPS and police were able to find it quickly. A lot was stolen from inside our car, and hotel did not have security cameras to help identify the thief. Book at your own risk.

Great location! Close to I-40, restaurants and shopping. During my stay, there was only one elevator operating and the bed was not comfortable. Neither were the pillows. The toilet also ran all night.

Great location friendly staff

Good things - great location, very nice rooms, very good breakfast, good shower, very friendly and helpful staff. Not so good - the (king-sized) bed was sloped toward the middle, the a/c unit was very noisy. Overall, a good stay and we will probably stay there again.

Well maintained, excellent breakfast and great location,

Staff was friendly and property was nice.
-
Great staff and rooms, the only thing that was a slight inconvenience was only one elevator was working, and when I asked where the ice machine was the desk clerk said she would get some for me from the kitchen. Which i found odd, but like I said the staff was friendly and professional.

The facility was excellent and accommodated my mother well with her conditions

Staff was exceelent. Property was older and not very up to date. Bed was comfy. Water pressure and temp were spot on.
-
Great amenities and good breakfast. Parking was good and secure considering the location. Staff at the restaurant were outstanding and the cuisine was exceptional.

Upon arrival we learned we would not be getting the king bed sofa bed suite we reserved and paid for. We got a double full bed. They were out of king bed rooms. They would not let us cancel or get a refund, so we were stuck. We had a horrible night. There wasn’t enough room for our family, the beds were uncomfy, and the carpet did not look vacuumed. The toilet paper holder was broken. Poor water pressure. Also all night we woke up to shouting, and pounding footsteps. We will not be staying again.

The hotel is conveniently located to prime shopping centers such as Uptown, Coronado Mall, and Winrock Center. The area is quiet, clean, and feels safe. The only issue we experienced was one of the only two elevators was down. The only working elevator could only hold 4-6 people. This made getting up and down challenging, especially in the morning with the guest checkouts, breakfast, and the maids cleaning the rooms. We had to use the stairs the entire time. We were on the third floor so this made our stay very unpleasant. Until they fix the issue (3 months according to the staff) we will stay elsewhere.

We were booked a room on the second floor. Checked in, unpacked. After 9pm, my daughter noticed a huge cockroach crawling on the floor near the bed. Called the front desk and they moved us to the 6th floor. I had to use the bathroom as soon as we got to that room, and the toilet was dirty. Towels, blankets and toiletries were not stocked. Highly disappointed with this particular stay. Will not be returning.

Only one elevator was working

Front desk staff were nice & the cucumber water was a nice touch, however the hotel has seen better days. Walls were scuffed, carpets looked dirty. Only 1 elevator was working & was really slow. The rooms were not great for what you pay. The first room toliet was not clean, dried yellow urine spots on the seat with hair. There was hair on the shower rug as well as the pillows on the bed. Most shelves & end tables were dusty and the carpet looked dirty. The couch also had a dirty spot. This was room 310. I asked the front desk for a different room, they did, although he didn't seem suprise. The next room was silmilar- fortunately the toliet was at least clean and there wasn't hair obviously on towels and pillows. The room was still dusty, carpets looked dirty and furniture looked scuffed and lopsided. It was quite the depressing stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone until the Hyatt re-educates and train thier housekeeping staff.

Both elevators were broken. No signs or information on it, just had to figure it out. Walking 6 flights was not fun. Otherwise, the room was nice. The area with the tub and toilet was extremely small. Breakfast was good, liked the variety and choices for food.

The rooms are more dated than photos indicate. The pet relief area is at the back of the property in an area with no vegetation and swarming with glass shards and ant hills. The lot for parking was okay, but there were people digging through trash cans by the hotel doors and riding scooters around parked cars look in cars when I took my dog out around 10 PM to potty. Neighboring hotels had gated parking and grass pet relief areas that were better lit and felt safer in general.

The only issue on this trip was their elevators, one of which broke the evening we arrived. We were told the second one had to be shut down also so they could work on the broken one. This continued on and off through the next night. We were on the 5th floor and are older. Otherwise a very nice hotel.

This is a great property IF the elevator works!!! We checked in and were told only one was working. We took our things to the room and left for dinner. We returned a few hours and NO elevators were working! We hiked 12 flights to the 6 th floor. The next morning we’re told it would be on a few minutes, so we hiked down( definitely easier than going up). We finished a nice breakfast and discovered the elevators were NOT working again. So…. We hiked up and then carried all our luggage down 12 flights to check out. We had booked through Hotels.com so were told we would need to contact them for compensation. We’ve tried for 3 days to talk to a person and that’s been impossible. I am primarily upset with Hotels.com for not providing customer service when needed!!!!! We have used them for years and never had an issue. The one time we do we can’t get a person!!!!
